The little house was adorable. Space was used very efficiently and the set up of everything was also very efficient. The property it was on was very peaceful and quiet - a very relaxing setting.
The description of the property included a hot tub - which is the reason we selected that place to stay. We were disappointed to find that there was no not tub. We contacted the owner to ask about it (just in case we weren't looking in the right place!) - & he explained that a previous guest had "pinched it". He did promise to provide a refund for the amount that we had paid for hot tub use.
We did cut our stay short. We had paid for 5 nights, but actually stayed for only 2 nights. A significant part of the reason for this was Hurricane Helene was scheduled to arrive on our scheduled 3rd night, and we decided we should go home to make sure our home property was secured for the predicted high winds. Another reason we cut our stay short was because the sleeping arrangement were not suitable for us. I (wife) had to sleep downstairs in the kids' bunk room because my arthritis made going upstairs to sleep difficult - and unsafe (for me). There is no handrail on the stairs, and I knew that I would need to make at least 1 trip to the bathroom during the night, and the bathroom was downstairs.
