Wonderful Beach Front Property
The check in process was super easy. The location was spectacular just a short walk to the beach. Very clean and great place to stay for a relaxing vacation with the family.

Great location for Families
We spent several days here in mid-May with our grown children and 2 young grandchildren. We had a wonderful stay. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and go back for the little’s naps when needed! We utilized the pool several times as well as the playground! We also cooked hamburgers outside using the charcoal grill near the pool. Our unit was comfortable, and very nicely decorated! The beds and linens were all clean and comfortable and we had plenty of towels! The only disappointment we experienced was the property laundry facilities. One might think that for a few days we could go without, but with a toddler and a baby, we found it necessary to wash some bed linens the second day we were there. $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry (in quarters). The machines were old, sandy, and the space small, hot and unkempt. An update to your existing facilities would be much anppreciated! After all, the grounds, the pool, the units all seemed to be well taken care of! Overall, we were so happy with the unit itself, and its location! We love Port Aransas!

Perfect place to stay!
This condo was the perfect place for our family to stay! Most cozy beds, amazing kitchen, great shower pressure, great living room space!! And the perfect location right next to the walkway to the beach, right next to the tennis and pickleball courts and pool! We can’t wait to find an excuse to come down to Port Aransas just to come stay there again!

Pura Vida!
We enjoyed the whole experience, being able to walk to the beach as well as driving the golf cart there. The pools were great, one of them was 8 feet deep! Room was nice, kitchen well equipped and updated.

Great for family getaway
This property is very spacious and has a very nice interior. The walkway to the beach is amazing and is only about 130 yards to the beach. The only thing that was wrong with the rooms were that the remotes for the fans in the rooms did not all have good batteries in them. Other than that it was a great stay and can’t wait to come back!!

We have stayed in Port A for a long weekend with the kids and grandkids every summer for a while now (minus Covid interruptions). This is our first time staying here, and we liked it... it's definitely on the "approved" list for future stays!

Great property. We had one issue when a breaker tripped late one night. Could not find breaker box. Called management company and they sent someone over. They also did not know where breaker box was. Took about 30 minutes to find.

Family Vacation
I have been travelling to Port Aransas for the past 20 years every summer and My go-to for a condo rental has always been Island Retreat II. I loved this place the first time I stayed and I go back every time. The convenience from town t the beach access is second to none and the amenities in the condos have never left me without essential needs for my stay. This stay was no different! We had everything we needed and the stay was exceptional! I will book this condo again for all of my future trips !

Great location, great condo!
I came with my family of 5 plus my mother in law. The location was just perfect. We grilled one night. The grill was right across the parking lot. There is also a playground, tennis court, and pool all in the same area. My oldest is a tennis player so she loved that. The pictures showing the walk to the beach made it look far away but when I was there is was much less then I was prepared for. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean and had everything we could need. Really I can’t say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend it and would like to come back soon. The only issue we had is that we couldn’t get the TV in the living room to connect to anything. No big deal we just all piled into the master and watched a movie. Great memories were made!

Labor day at Port A
Very clean apartment! Outdated furniture but still comfortable. Better pricing than condominiums. No loud noises or parties. Very low key. We did not use the kitchen much but it had what we needed. The windows in 2 bedrooms had broken blinds and we could not completely close them and since there were no curtains, we didnt sleep well because the outside lights lit up the rooms. The brick pathway to the boardwalk is horrible and is a hazard for anyone. That can easily be fixed by the owners. Lots of amenities including tennis court, swimming pools, outside washing machine and dryer and very short walk to beach. Good place to stay for a family@

The experience exceeded expectations.
We loved our stay. The unit was spacious and clean, updated and comfortable. Only a couple of hundred yards from and an easy walk to the beach, we loved coming and going throughout the day. The property manager, Dale was extremely helpful throughout our stay with both information, as well as assistance in a minor injury emergency. The only suggestions we have are to add a blender to the unit and maybe a Keurig in addition to the drip coffee maker, plus include a second set of bath towels and to be sure the unit is stocked with paper towels and toiled paper so it's not on the guest to have to supply those. Overall, our stay was great and we recommend this unit to anyone looking for a super nice beach vacation in Port A.

Lovely condo
We really enjoyed the stay here. It was super. The only drawback was that the boardwalk that was closest to the condo was underwater at the lowest point so you had to wade to cross it. We decided to use the further boardwalk and it is great. There is one small issue though. It has traction in the center but not on the edges. We had one friend who took a good tumble and scraped her leg all up. She is still healing. Otherwise, great location and great stay!
