My friend and I stayed here for a 2 nights and thought the beds were quite comfy, and the spaces were updated and clean, as was the rest of the apartment, for the most part.
The kitchen was well stocked, although we were confused as to why there were small planks of wood in the coffee basket... did they want us to build a cutting board instead of making coffee? The answer is unclear.
Unfortunately however, one of the first things we noticed as we walked in the door was that there were wood bugs all over the floor near the entry (and each day there were more seemingly coming out from under the door) and we found more in the bedrooms and bathroom as well. Not fun. And while this is not terrible because wood bugs are harmless, one should not notice bugs all over the entry floor upon first arriving at a VRBO.
As well, there was ant bait sitting on the bathroom floor, this in and of itself is not a big problem and obviously you want to get rid of ants, but the problem was that there were lots of dead ants on the floor in the corners by the bathtub that had not been cleaned away which wasn't all that nice to see.
Due to the fact that there is a cleaning fee for this unit, we were not super happy with the fact that we were told to strip the beds ourselves and put the towels onto wash. This is not a huge problem, but it feels off when we are paying for someone to clean.
Overall though, a nice place to sleep for a couple nights and the closeness to the beach was wonderful!
