First of all, the property has very nice views and is conveniently located. There are condos facing the parking lot and those on the backside of those condos facing more toward the mountain. This property is on a corner facing toward the mountain. To get to the slopes you walk maybe 50 yards, put on yours skis, and then ski the sort way down to the two lifts at the main lift area. To come back, you exit one of the green slopes and can literally ski up to the door. It's very easy to ski in and ski out. If you can ski down a green slope, you will have no problem. The property itself is quite cozy. There is a nice view through the window of the lifts and you can see more of the peak out on the small deck. The place comes nicely appointed and there was no issue with climate control as there is at some of these properties. The town of Crested Butte is a cool ski town. A little more laid back then Telluride or Breck, with an even more authentic feel. All of the meals we had there were excellent. The bus system was a tiny bit confounding at first, but it is less than a five minute walk from the condo. The bus runs every 15 minutes, at least in the winter, and is free. We didn't need a car and the bus got to town in 10 minutes are so. Even better there were indoor bus stops in town as well as at Mount Crested Butte where you pick the bus up.Finally, Jenny was a phenomenal host who was available whenever she was needed.
