Dads ski trip
Our group of eight adults recently stayed at this incredible ski-in, ski-out house, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal. We could literally ski right to the door, which made getting on and off the mountain so easy and convenient.The house itself was spacious and beautifully designed, accommodating our large group with plenty of room to spread out. The living area was ideal for hanging out after a day on the slopes, and the second living area downstairs offered even more space. The large windows offered breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains of Crested Butte.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook up group meals, and the dining area comfortably seated everyone. The hot tub was great for soaking sore muscles while taking in the views.The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with enough space to ensure everyone had their own spot to relax. Plus, the ski storage area and boot dryer were incredibly handy, keeping our gear organized and dry.The hosts were fantastic, providing great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. With the ski-in, ski-out convenience, combined with a cozy, spacious atmosphere, this house was the perfect choice for our large group. I couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for an unforgettable ski trip to CB.

Surprise 80th
We rented this home with our whole family to surprise our dad for his birthday. We pulled off the surprise and the house accommodations were perfect for our group. The location and views were amazing! Our host was also amazing and super helpful in the planning process. She recommended a local photographer to capture our moments, stocked the fridge so we would not have to get out, and even made a connection to a local baker to get his favorite cake made!

Best Mountain Home - Ski In/Out
Best views in CB! This high end mountain home is a wonderful 3 story house in Prospect. Bottom floor has 3 bedrooms, 2nd kitchen and is perfect for older kids or second family. Great outdoor fire pit (perfect for s’ mores), foose ball table, ping pong table and hot tub. Main and third floor have an additional 3 rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. We had 10 adult kids and cooked every night for 5 nights and didn’t have any issues from a lack of appliances or supplies. The home is very clean, maintained and organized. It’s situated next to an owners trail that leads to the Gold Link lift. Best access back to the house is to take Elko Park to Deer Pass. This is our second stay at this house, I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed. The home owners are great people and always available should you need assistance! If I could make one recommendation we could use a pool table next time! JK

Fabulous!
Our entire family had the most incredible week here in Crested Butte! We had six under 6, plus a 13 yo along, with 10 adults and this house was perfect! It was the best rental we've ever stayed in - well stocked with essentials, kitchen was a dream for cooking large meals, comfortable beds and furniture for a large group with lots of kids. The outdoor spaces kept all the kids busy and happy the entire time! The location was convenient for hiking, fishing, horseback riding and exploring in town and all around! The communication with the owners was awesome; they gave us several suggestions which were wonderful. We definitely want to come back!

Amazing house, supreme views, and super hosts!!
We had the best 2 week stay at this absolutely beautiful house! The views are spectacular. The floorplan is ideal for multiple families. We had ages 13-80 and everything was perfect. From the well stocked kitchen to the 3 washer and dryers.....it was all dreamy! The beds were all so comfortable, kitchen and bathroom supplies were plentiful, lots of seating inside and out, awesome oversized hot tub and lots of swim towels provided, lots of parking, immaculate yard (got to enjoy the blooming wildflowers!) and the trampoline was a hit! The home office was handy and an added bonus for our 2 week stay! We would love to go back in winter and would stay in this house again for sure! The hosts were very responsive and helpful with questions, recs and even suggestions for dinners, hikes, and activities! We absolutely loved this location as each time we made the turns in the road the view was more and more beautiful! Such a quick and easy drive to everything.

Absolutely gorgeous property
Geoff and Krista were very accommodating and helpful for our first time skiing Crested Butte. Their home was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you could ever need. The location of the property was perfect. A short, easy blue run to get you to the house was exactly what our Texas family of 3 needed when we wanted to stop in for lunch or to warm up by the fire. This was the best ski vacation we’ve had so far, and it’s all because of their attention to detail and great recommendations. We will definitely be back. 10/10!!!!!!

Fantastic family trip!!!
Krista and Geoff’s place at Crested Butte provided the perfect family summer getaway. It comfortably housed our entire 14 person group ranging in all ages. The house was perfectly stocked. We really enjoyed the beautiful views and the vast amount of activities for the whole family to enjoy in the area. The house is located conveniently to both downtown Crested Butte as well as Mount Crested Butte Resort but still feels private and secluded. There is fantastic access to world class biking and hiking trails from the doorstep. We particularly enjoyed walking to Snodgrass Trailhead as well as exploring the Gothic area hikes. We could also easily drive to the Umbrella Bar and access the resort trails for world class mountain biking. Our kids attended the Mount Crested Butte summer camps and had great all day mountain experiences. This place is truly a gem and I can’t recommend it enough. I can’t wait to come back in the winter to ski!!

Wonderful!!
The property was perfect for our family of 14 including 5 children under the age of 9 and two dogs!! It was so nice to have the middle level with a kitchen of its own for the early risers. The kids LOVED the trampoline and we enjoyed s'mores on the fire pit and a dip in the hot tub! The only issue we had was with VRBO and a misunderstanding over whether our final payment and pet payments had been made. The owners were most understanding and although I was terribly embarrassed to think that VRBO had not processed our final payment it was so nice to be in contact with gracious owners who helped us figure it out. We would definitely rent again. The property is perfect for a large group. We also had never rented in Prospect before and found it to be very convenient to town and to the amenities on the mountain. Perfect stay! Thank you Krista and Goeff!! We will be back!

We stayed in this amazing home with another family for Xmas and NY and have taken away some incredible memories. The house suits two families. The house is located just off the Gold Link ski run and is ski in and ski out. We hired a car so we could explore the town of Crested Butte which was beautiful. We had a large group utilizing all 6 bedrooms with ages 18 - 65 and the place, in addition to stunning views, is laid out such that it was never crowded. So many activities including hiking, biking, fishing, and horseback riding are just outside your door. The second family room was a welcome spot for the gamers while ping pong was going on in the garage with the adults gathering around the fire pit each night. Every detail and need was thoughtfully addressed and nothing was missed - definitely exceeded our expectations.

There are no words!!!! Beautiful inside and out. Excellent response from hosts when needed.
This property was the backdrop for a family reunion. We were a group of 17 people with ages ranging from 11 to 86. No one was disappointed!! The location was absolutely stunning as was the home that had ample room for our large group to congregate comfortably. It was equipped with everything we needed. Hosts, Krista and Geoff, were helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. In fact, they couldn’t have been more helpful or kind. It truly was magical to the point that we had to force ourselves to leave to see other beautiful sites that Created Butte has to offer. Our week was during the Wildflower Festival so views were extraordinary. My entire family highly recommends this property.

Great multi-family retreat with stunning views
To celebrate a milestone 14 family members across the country gathered at this spacious and extremely comfortable mountain home located in the CB Ski resort area. From there we could walk out our door and do several beautiful hikes as well as drive short distances for wonderful walks amid wildflower meadows. The house was one of the few that had five bedrooms for couples and a bunk room for the 4 older grandchildren. The house has two sitting areas which the family used as well as a hot tub and ping pong table. The kitchens are well supplied. The dining table easily accommodated 14 for dinners. All of our family members raved about the comfort of the house and its beautiful location. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responsive to our pre planning questions helping us find fly fishing and rafting services and learning about the grocery store options. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at this well designed house with super comfortable beds and furniture.

Wonderful house with 3 levels, hot tub multiple outdoor fire pits with the best views in CB! If you are looking to hike, bike or adventure into the wilderness this house is it and it’s near the entrance to the Snodgrass trailhead with Gothic just down the road! Easy to access the prospect side of the mountain with a trail just off the back porch to hike and bike. Great family home, we will be back!

Gorgeous Mountainside Family Retreat
A beautifully-appointed and well-equipped home, perfect for the whole family. Large open living spaces with gorgeous views, plenty of sleep options, well-stocked kitchens (including dish ware, tools, as well as many basic ingredients) with top-of-the-line appliances. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. She made every effort to provide for our needs around the house as well as providing many local options for dining and shopping. Plenty of recreational equipment provided. Location is ideal for outdoor activities. Part of our group hiked and summited Crested Butte, while little ones explored various nearby trails. We enjoyed rafting the Upper Taylor River. During our early-July stay, the house was beautifully landscaped with local flowers and surrounded by mountainside wildflowers in full bloom! Daily deer sightings. We highly recommend this amazing property and gracious property owner!
