Beds were ok, it was clean. Noisy airco. If you need to be in Dunnellon for a short appointment it is convenient .We booked for one night. Otherwise not recommended.

We booked 5 rooms and each room was absolutely disgusting, unclean. Visibly soiled, sheets looked unchanged and floors unswept or mopped, bathroom mirror looked like it had not been cleaned over last 6 months. Front desk lady was nice.

The floors were extremely dirty. When I spilled some water in the bathroom I got a rag to clean it up in the rag was totally brown with dirt so the floors weren't kept the air conditioner was very noisy and had lint and dust all over the coils No bed spread just lightweight sheet and was a cold nite. No blankets stored anywhere but if I found one I would have been afraid to use it for fear that it wasn't washed appropriately. The pillows smelled like men's cologne so not sure they were even washed

The front desk person was pleasant. Didn’t like that I had to pay a fee for using a business credit card. Wasn’t told that when I booked the room. The place needs a thorough cleaning and updating. Smoke pails out side of every door is very tacky.

Horrible experience
Horrible service. Will never stay at this motel. Manager refused to issue a refund after the hotel lost electricity. People were congregating outside our room smoking and talking very loud. It was about 5 am. The manager never asked them to quiet it down. We were unable to sleep after that.

horrible and filthy
Awful. This was a terrible experience this is a filthy room. This was a stay during hurricane Milton. There was absolutely nothing else available. I was upstairs which is okay except I had a cat and a dog. The power went out and there are no emergency lights. I can tell you it was quite precarious this morning trying to get my 14-year-old dog down a flight upstairs in the dark in the rain in the wind. The room itself I can't say anything about except yuck. Nothing was cleaned absolutely nothing. If I had not been in the middle of a hurricane I would have left. Not having safety lighting is not a good thing and when I did complain to the maintenance person he said oh yeah that's about the one hundreds complaint I've had about that. It's dangerous and it's illegal stay here at your own risk.

Needs to be demolished
The place is just very old and dingy. No amount of scrubbing could clean this place up. It really needs to be demolished. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. I I would not recommend staying there to anyone.
