Nice rental off the main Eastern beachy strip. Place is clean, soaps, towels and bedding provided. You'll want to bring any food you might need except sugar. There were 2 five # bags in one of the cupboards. No coffee, salt, pepper, oils, etc. There is a drip coffee maker and filters. There are plenty of sharp knives, cups, plates, spatulas, cutting boards. No measuring cups, but there are measuring spoons. Sink has an instant hot water tap.
It was in the 30s°F when I visited and the heat worked. There are extra blankets, too. Master bed has a firm memory foam topper that I found very uncomfortable. They've replaced the white couch in the pics and I thought it was fine for napping and lounging.
House is not 100% private and could use some curtains in the bedrooms. However, it's not like anyone can see from the road since the place is elevated.
I really liked the location. It's an easy 1ish mile walk to the Audubon Sanctuary, or keep walking another mile for the aquarium or beach.
Swimspa was amazing. There's a little algae growth at the water line but otherwise seemed and smelled clean.
I would consider this place again if I were to return to Dauphin Island
