Great location and family friendly Oasis in the desert. Cool great for families and if it's not too hot there's other activities available like tennis and pickleball that would be fun. Will return

Despite the price, don't expect a lot

Stayed at the Ranch for 2 nights and was shocked at how dated the rooms were considering the price. Hair dryer barely worked. Kind of a strange layout in the room. Pool was nice. Ate at 2 restaurants and they were meh - meat all seemed processed and not great quality. It was super convenient to visit the park

Location is very convenient in Death Valley. Ice Cream shop is pretty good. Room, for its price ($300 ), is very.... well, maybe because it is in the desert. Death Valley is very nice. Landscape is fantastic. Worth the trip.

Very disappointed. Noisy room by metal staircase.

Very disappointed by our stay. Rooms were old and noisy. place was understaffed. Stawff looked tired and unhappy. There was nothing to do in the evening. Food was mediocre and expensive. Reflects the fact that they have a monopoly and they didn't need to compete for the tourist's dollar.

Easily the worst hotel experience I've had on cross country road trip. Took forever to check in with one employee at desk and line across the lobby. As a solo traveler I wasnt allowed a tabke at dinner time despite multiple free tables the entire time I was there, my only option offered was to sit at the bar. Bed/room quality was more motel than hotel. Parking was a nightmare arriving at nught, garbage visibility, needed to park two buildings away from my room. Choose literally anywhere else but here.

Must stay!

I loved our stay here! Don't get me wrong I am not expecting a 5 star hotel in a National Park but this was great for what it was. The Ranch is accessible to many popular locations in the park! Check in was super easy. The rooms were dated but your in Death Valley get out of your room!!! The Ranch was like a little resort, walkable to the restaurants, ice cream and shopping. The pool was an amazing plus! I would absolutely book here again when I return to Death Valley. It is so worth staying in the park.

Good resort

Property is beautiful amenities are nice although very expensive. I did not see a lot of gluten-free or vegan choices. The walls are very thin in the rooms and our neighbors kept us up most of the night otherwise comfortable. Oh and they wouldn't let us take food to go which actually could help you alleviate the long lines for dining
