This was my 2nd time staying at this property. Great top floor unit, spectacular views and location. Owner responded quickly to my text messages with issues (very wet shower mat hanging over shower door, very damp moldy smelling towels that were folded for us to use, light sockets that did not work; 1 was pushing into the wall when you tried to plug something in, master shower dial had piece broken off.) He explained it was the cleaning company and he would reach out to them and address this. I thanked him and explained stuff like this can result in poor reviews; I realize he is not nearby to check on these things regularly but needs a dependable cleaning co to manage the prop. The owner told me I could wash the towels to take care of the problem. I was very disappointed in his response. This was not a cheap rental. I did not feel I should be washing any towels. Then at 9:20 pm, on our last night, I received a text from the owner telling me the water would be turned off around 8:30 am for about an hour for some plumbing work and to please plan accordingly. Turns out the water never did get turned off and we were gone by 10:30 am. During all of this, the owner never once said the word 'Sorry' for any of the issues we experienced, including being told the water being turned off. Too bad, because it would have gone a long way and I would not be writing this review. The perception was that it was okay to inconvenience paying customers and that he owed them nothing.
