My biggest issue is contact with the owner, tried contacting him at least 5 times, I got one response after 3 months from first attempt. And then he didn’t answer some of my questions. I almost cancelled our reservation as I didn’t trust I was dealing with a legit rental.
When we arrived, there was no info left about anything. When does trash get picked up, what are your expectations when we leave, correct Wi-Fi info etc etc. I tried calling when we arrived to get Wi-Fi info (what we received when we got passcode to get in the house) was incorrect. I never got a call back.
The house is nice, however, there was a hole in the ceiling of the living room that needs to be fixed, there is no light in 1st floor walk-in closet (and it’s very dark in there) and the lights in that bedroom (1st floor) only work sometimes. Many windows don’t have any coverings on them, including the 4th floor bunk room, Despite 2 small air conditioners it was hot on the 4th floor and VERY bright because there were no window coverings.The 1st level living area had no window coverings on it and that is on ground level. The master bedroom didn’t have window coverings that fit the window
The stairway from the 2nd level to the first level has no railing at all, very dangerous and it’s steep!
There are numerous places in the house that would be difficult for the elderly or small children would have much difficulty navigating. There was no propane in the BBQ, no coat hangers
