Honestly Hill Countryâs communication isnât the best. On the VRBO listing, it states there is AC, but I found out after asking that the Yurt and Tipi only have fans and portable AC units. Booking in the middle of August in the Texas Summer it wouldâve been nice to have that information prior to booking. They were pretty accommodating with things, but a lot of the things I feel like I wouldnât know if I didnât ask. The layout under the VRBO is also incorrect with which beds are where. Overall, we had a lot of fun but there seemed to be some miscommunication from VRBO and Hill Country.
We had our wedding party & immediate family stay with us for our wedding weekend & it was perfect! We were able to enjoy the whole weekend together & it made the experience even better. The property was tucked away & private. It was very well kept and clean. Would recommend to others for a nice stay!
My husband and I booked this property for our entire wedding party and it was a blast. The perfect balance of privacy and communal spaces, and it had everything we needed.
This property is totally unique and unlike anything else I've come across! Would definitely recommend for groups of friends or family. Unfortunately, I think our group was one of the first times they had a full buy out and weren't adequately prepared to support a group of our size (ie neglected to provide ~50% of the dwellings access information, towel availability, etc) and sadly we were unable to enjoy either of the hot tub/spas as they smelled quite strongly and appeared to be in need of some chlorine. Overall, our group's experience was positive, even with a few bumps along the way.
