Comfortable and inviting
We were here for a wedding in Dripping Springs for three nights. The home was cozy, comfortable and inviting. This was our first time in Texas so the home was nicely decorated with a western flair. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We did not realize that the closest stores were between 7-11 miles, depending on the direction that you are heading. However this did not inconvenience us but it may some. If you like privacy and seclusion you will enjoy this home, which we did.

There were no kitchen towels for drying dishes. Pots and pans are very worn and required washing prior to use. There were no instructions on how to get the gate to open upon leaving the property to go explore the town. Had to climb the gate to enter the code into the keypad to get out until receiving instructions via text when I inquired about the gate. Also didn’t love that the master bath did not have a door-just a curtain separating it from the main bedroom. The house is very pretty and nice otherwise.

Beautiful and cozy property
The Honky Tonk property was a beautiful cozy property. We stayed in this location for a wedding of my best friend's daughter. My family was very comfortable as we enjoyed the weekend together. I will be back to stay soon. Thank you for your hospitality.

Nice Getaway
Stayed 8 nights. The house was very comfortable. It was secluded but easy to get to. Loved seeing deer in the yard in the mornings. Check in was easy. Lots of restaurants, wineries, shopping within 20 minutes. House could have been cleaner and there was a bit of a doggy odor. Disappointed that there are no chairs to relax in by the outdoor fire pit as shown in the VRBO pictures.

A Peaceful Thanksgiving!
We had a small family Thanksgiving at Honky Tonk Getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The location is very convenient to use as a home base to explore the area, and the kids, adults, and dogs were all very pleased with our time there. The property management team was also incredibly responsive both before and during our stay and made sure our questions were answered quickly and to our satisfaction. To echo a few of the other reviews, there were some small touches that would improve the experience (dishes were chipped, very few spare blankets, no chairs at the fire pit), but overall we had a wonderful time and would absolutely return.

Perfect Birthday Weekend Getaway
I definitely recommend! We spent a lot of time relaxing on the back porch when we weren’t enjoying nearby restaurants and Wimberley. With the amount of time we spent outside, I would only recommend cozier furniture that you can spend hours on for the patio.

Comfortable house. Little things would help a lot.
We enjoyed our stay. House was comfortable. Could be even better with a couple of things. The coffee pot doesn't work, kept overflowing. Another coffee pot in the cabinets did not work at all. Had to go out and buy our own pot. The nice picture of the fire pit with chairs was misleading. Overgrown grass in and around it with none of those chairs to be found. Patio furniture and cushions was old but functional.

Overall Really Liked the Property and Enjoyed our Stay
Really liked the location of the property. Ate at Hays City Store and loved it. Overall the property was nice, but the bed was really firm and the grass needed cutting. The fenced yard was great for our dogs and the yard was beautiful with huge live oaks. Would stay here again.

Underwhelming but serviceable
Good location for family events being held in Driftwood venues. Mgmt easy to contact and deal with. House itself however wasn’t very clean: dusty and old furnishings and clearly only spot cleaned as there was ketchup packets beside the bed post and wall in one of the bed rooms for instance. One faucet in bathroom didn’t work at all (cold water on right side sink). And the house was very dark and dim. Porches were filthy with bird poop and other droppings and the outside chairs were filthy and we couldn’t sit outside. Tables outside also filthy but we could have scrubbed those down but the chairs were so unfit to sit in we didn’t bother to try. This was a disappointment. Finally, towels were still washing in the washing machine when we arrived and we had to put them in the dryer ourselves that evening which seems a bit much for the cost of the house.

Wonderful Home for Quiet Getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so quiet and private yet it was just minutes to get to places to shop and eat. House was just as described and very roomy, comfortable and well supplied.

Great location in Hill Country
This was a great location for a short, 3-day stay in Driftwood to attend a family wedding. While we didn't have a chance to use the fire pit, we enjoyed the wonderful outdoor spaces (with the benefit of great weather, blooming spring flowers, and clear skies for stargazing), the convenience of the location for getting to wonderful Wimberly, tiny Dripping Springs, and the Hays City Store. The house itself is well-appointed and homey, with some charming personal accents. Overall, it was a very nice place to kick off our boots and relax in Hill Country. Thanks to the hosts!

The property was located in a very quiet area with good access to surrounding locations. However it was not as clean as other properties we have rented. Bathrooms were quite small-bedrooms were comfortable. There was no slide on the doggie door so we had to block it as well as we could while we were not there.

Great property in a convenient area
Great secluded property in a convenient area close to restaurants, distilleries and shopping. Nicely decorated with comfortable beds. Living areas are spacious with a lot of natural light. Kitchen is fully stocked and they have thought of extra things like bug spray for when you sit outdoors. I would book again.

Eventful Stay
We really enjoyed our stay, the only exception was that the front door was impossible to open. We couldn't get it openso we had to go thru the side entrance. The front step was a little difficult to step onto especially with my broken 5th vertebrae in my spine. My 2 daughters also have injuries due to being caregivers. One of the beds was not very comfy it felt rather lumpy. I did do some sweeping , the floors were not cleaned very well. But we did enjoy your property and the doggies were in heaven running and playing on the vast property. Thank you.

Relaxing!!!
The house was so relaxing and peaceful. We would sit out on the front and back porch, hang out and watch the deer and longhorns. It is the perfect getaway for friends and family. It was close enough to places to eat and a little wine tasting. The weekend was perfect. Be sure and use Off when needed, got a few bites. Also, don't go barefoot in the house. I stepped on a scorpion in one of the bedrooms, thank goodness I had socks on, didn't get me too bad. Gotta LOVE the country. :)

We saw deer every morning and afternoon. They could jump a five foot fence just standing in front of the fence about a foot from the fence. 2 mornings we saw 5 beautiful longhorns. They would come right up to the fence to say hello
