The host was lovely and communicative, especially with a minor issue that we had. The property is a bit awkward for more than one couple. Plenty of upstairs beds for young ones or a second couple BUT the area is entirely open AND very loud with creaking wood flooring. The property is definitely not appropriate for mobility-challenged guests. Again, all of this is fine, as long as you aren't needing a different setup.
Door lock is a bit tricky for first use; hit the checkmark and listen for chimes as you enter EACH number, then hit the checkmark at the end. It's easier once you know!
The interior space is difficult for more than 1 couple; there is 4-person in-line counter seating. No table area to play games, etc. If you have more than 4, they will be eating on the couch. Should you plan to watch TV or an evening movie, then seating for 4 will be shared on large dual-recliner couch at a bad angle.... but you're probably here for the Bourbon Trail (or Creation Museum) or, to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
The location is on a (mostly) single lane, paved access that is ~1 mile off of the main road. Pretty area but be sure to drive 20 mph speed limit to not upset the many cottages in the area.
You are ~15 minutes from restaurants, shopping, etc. We did not experience mosquitoes. However, you are in a rural area though, so, expect ants, spiders, insects. You might want to pack some anti-itch if you or your guests are bothered by the uninvited guests.
