Disappointed
Unfortunately, 2 messages to the host via the booking system were missed & not responded to. One being that we would require the futon as well as the bed as 1 x 18 yr old & a parent. We arrived at 3pm for check in to find no carparking nearby, the unit open with previous stays dirty sheets. We had to text, call & wait to get a response & then after apologies we were asked to leave and come back in an hour and a half. We arrived back at 4.30. There was no parking again so had to walk 300m along a shared driveway and down a very steep drive carrying all our bags. The host later apologized and told us to double park behind someone else. We arrived to find one double bed made up despite the request at booking. No bedding at all for what is sold as the futon bed (that is also only suitable for light people as the mattress on it is 5cm thick & doesn't cover full length) The host was aware via text that we had arrived, the bedding for the futon was not there. She did apologize again for more issues & said she would refund us after all the problems. We raced off to our function - when we came back no one had come to deliver any sheets/blanket/pillow for the requested futon. A long night with splitting bedding so each got one sheet - no second duvet though.Have held off reviewing to see if the refund & apology was forthcoming but feel as not, I would warn others.Should be sold as double only (not twin adult) 2 small kids & suggest better to say no parking available.
