Staying in the Moray room, we had a fantastic experience at Eleven Stafford Street. Self check-in instructions were easy to follow and the hotel itself was close to public transport links including Haymarket train station, tram, and bus routes. The room was immaculate and very comfortable.

The room was clean and the check-in was very easy. Great shower! My only issue is that I own a business and there wasn't any place, other than the bed, where I could set up my laptop computer. Having said that, we would stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay - safe, quiet and has its own unique charm. There was no desk in the room, so it was a bit uncomfortable for me to work with my laptop. Otherwise - no issues! Coffee was excellent, room cleaned every day, location is great.

Perfect location for 2 day visit to Edinburgh. Literally 2 min walk from West End Tram stop to hotel. Off site Luggage storage not any further away if arriving early, complementary. 10 min walk to Old town, 5-8 min to lots of great restaurants in New Town. Don’t miss Water of Leith 30 min walk to Botanical Gardens. No front desk attendant but off site staff response was excellent.

Stuffy on 3rd floor

Advertised as 2nd floor but room was actually on 3rd. Winding stairs made it very difficult to carry luggage up and down. Not recommended for anyone with any sort of physical limitation. Also, no screen on the window and it needed to be open as the small room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Saw a sea gull come into the room 2 times and actually took a bag with nuts off the bed and came very close to grabbing a pill container. Needed to keep shade down so no bird would come in while sleeping. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they stayed on the main floor. Good location. Close to tram, coffee shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable enough but in general, the room was too uncomfortable on 3rd floor.
