When looking to book a place on our visit to Louisville, I was looking for a place outside of the city and found Jane's Cottage Retreat. I'm so glad we did! The house was cute, cozy and comfortable and was just what we needed. The hosts definitely put thought into the design, as well as the function of the home including small details such as coffee pods, cookies in the freezer, remote controls for European heating/cooking units in the rooms, soft towels and bedding, and so much more. They even left us a sweet note and special gift for our anniversary!
I would want to make sure that people know this is in a very small and quiet community with very little as far as eating places, however you can't beat the biscuits and gravy for breakfast at the General Store across the street. Of course the kitchen is fully stocked so you can bring in groceries and cook. New Albany is a short 10 minute drive away and is full of great eating establishments, a cute coffee shop and more.
James did a fabulous job of communicating before, during and after our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there if ever in the area again. Loved it!
