I have several comments about our stay. First off, I would update a LOT of things in the apartment. The furniture being on the top of the list. It needs replacing. I didn't even want to sit on the couch. It didn't look clean and it was uncomfortable. We put a sheet down to sit on it. The other larger chair was equally as uncomfortable. Two of the 4 PLASTIC chairs were broken. A little nervous to sit on those. There was one bar chair that was painted! Not even a good job at painting. It looked like a 3 year old painted it. One coat, and didn't even hide the wood they were trying to hide. Same with the table. The bed was okay. We weren't able to control the thermostat without "loggin in". ??? Most nights were spent uncomfortably warm. Little touches, like using a real hand soap in the bathroom rather than something that felt like water and didn't lather, maybe a little bottle of dishwashing detergent to use for the 3 or 4 dishes that we used. The price per night was reasonable. The "cleaning cost" was absolutely ridiculous. It would take two people paying them $25/hr 2 hours to clean that tiny space. We have friends that use VRBO and love it, that's why we gave this a try. After talking with them, we realize that not all VRBO's are the same. I just really expected a little more from a VRBO for that reason. Lesson learned
