This cozy historical hotel took me back in time. The attention to detail and the attentive staff truly was a magical experience. The restaurant and pub on site was an added bonus. The only negative which I assume has to do with the age of the hotel is the water pressure in the shower. One doesn’t need to wash their hair everyday— so no real problem. If you want to be treated with supreme kindness and feel like you are transported back in time, you must stay here.

Cosy hour with great location and staff

We had a family trip to Ennis and loved every minute . Hotel was right in downtown and had a great restaurant and bar inside. Great hotel

Greeted by OG, the hotel's little mascot was lovely. He's a little cat btw and he/she is all over the Instagram page of the hotel. Very warm welcome by the receptionist and such a beautiful hotel throughout. Will be back!

We chose The Old Grounde Hotel for our first two days upon arrival from the US and it did not disappoint. It set the standard with extremely attentive staff, beautifully maintained historic rooms and the most delicious dinner in their Town Hall restaurant with impeccable service. Highly recommend!

The entire experience was excellent.... it was my first time in Ireland and I love being immersed in the old world charm, accommodating staff, excellent food in pub, convenience to everything in town and the well designed and comfortable rooms that had all of the comforts of home.....the lobby and surrounding areas were always filled with guests to either talk with or listen to music their !!. I highly recommend the accommodations and can't wait to return 😊 !!!

Were able to get a second night in the same room we booked for the first night ( it was a last minute decision to stay a second night) and the team shuffled things around so we didn’t have to change rooms.
