We loved the Suite Potato. It's very cute and well designed. Everything is nice and clean, and the neighborhood is great. Nice having a fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig. Truly well designed for a very compact space.
We bopped all over Eugene while staying there and found it easy to come and go from that location. It was a great stay overall and we recommend it for sure!
For us, it did feel very small. I'd call it compact more than cozy. We are average middle-agers, not very large or tall, but not slender either. We met some challenges.
A few examples:
It was hard for us to move around easily, especially inside the bathroom.
The toilet is very close to the facing and side walls and toilet roll. It took some adjusting to make that work. The doorway into the shower and the stall are quite narrow. And the small bathroom sink is the only sink.
There are three places to sit that aren't the bed -- two stools and a cushioned pull out chair. We stacked the stools to make room to the side for our small bags. (And one of us sat on the bed the whole time.)
We travel with a CPAP. Ensuring it wouldn't get knocked over was tricky.
I think for people traveling solo, or two who aren't super tall or large, and don't need to use mobility or sizeable medical devices, it works. It really is VERY nice.
If you aren't pretty sure footed, and/or you're super tall or very large, though, it may not be the right fit for you.
(We didn't use the hot tub/pool area.)
Yay Suite Potato!
