The apartment was very clean and comfortable. You can walk everywhere to see the attractions. Luisa was a wonderful hostess who helped get us settled and showed us on a map where to go for the best attractions. I would highly recommend staying here as I would love to come back some day. Janice

Immersive experience
Luisa’s place has two foot thick walls in a very old building (600 years?). It’s very well equipped and decorated. Like a home. Luisa knows Evora intimately and takes time, with a map, to explain the sites to visit as well as the history of the area. It would have been good to spend more time with her. Unfortunately our phone and email chose that time to crash. We found Evora fascinating. Side streets hardly more than a vehicle’s width but used for vehicle traffic. Good restaurants and of course churches to see. Great experience and we would go back.

Great place to stay
We completely enjoyed our stay at Luisa's apartment. It is compact but very comfortable. She has thought of everything. We wanted for nothing! Kitchen area is small but fully equipped. Luisa is helpful and informative, and she is a great booster for her city. Parking is in a nearby garage which is safe and convenient gbbooster for her city.

Our hostess was very knowledgeable about the area, and having a parking garage included (a ten minute walk away) was a wonderful bonus. Everything in town is walkable from the apartment, and it is very clean, with high quality linen and towels.

Experience in Evora
This is an amazing property, right in the heart of Evora. Louisa is a great host, who provides a personal touch at check in with amazing advice. Just follow her suggestions, and you will have a wonderful time. I would recommend her VRBO apartment anytime.

The property was as described and located ''inside'' the walled area of Évora as advertised. We used the underground parking offered and, although it is a 5 to 10 min walk away, it was very convenient. J.R. from Canada April '24

Charming in old part of town
This apartment has been beautifully restored with such attention to detail! The sheets and towels are all monogrammed and all the furniture is very comfortable. The location is within the old city walls and a very short walk to most of the sights. We would recommend taking the walking tour through the tourist office. Our host gave us a map and many recommendations-plus a bottle of wine! She was right there when we arrived. We did not have hot water for showers but i think that was our fault in not understanding how the hot water heater worked. There are many restaurants in easy walking distance. We bought some provisions at a small grocery but limited selection. Larger grocery stores outside of walls.

Amazing Stay in Evora
The city of Evora is stunning, and our stay was enhanced greatly by this great property. My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The property was spotless, and well appointed. The host, Luisa, was lovely and provided us with great advice on things to do during our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent place for a short stay. Luisa is a host who really cares about looking after her guests. It's a few minutes walk to the main square and 15 minutes to larger local supermarkets. The bus station is about 10 minutes.

Lovely little place
Very well located inside the medieval walls, one can walk to everything. The interior design is very nice, with a blue and white theme to match the tilework typical of Portugal. This space has everything you need! And Luisa was very helpful in answering our questions. We’d stay here again for sure.

Amazing Visit to Evora
Amazing, historic renovated apartment in a great location. Wonderful host who arranges a parking space and gave us a wonderful orientation to the town and keeps a helpful journal of business cards and guest comments for Evora. Highly recommend.

Great Place
This one bedroom apartment was extremely well finished with beautiful tile floors and all the amenities you need for a great stay. We unfortunately were late for our arrival time which made our host rush through the check in but that was our fault. Location is great with an easy walk from the bus station and only a short walk to the main square or any of the tourist sites. The apartment had everything you needed with extras like a heated towel rack. Best day was walking out of the walled city along the aqueduct for a couple kilometres and then walking back through the residential neighbourhoods. Also took a three hour tour with Evora Megolithica to see several sites and I would highly recommend this tour. We spent three nights and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment close to town center
This is a lovely, thoughtfully appointed apartment that makes excellent use of a small space. It's filled with personal touches that make it feel like a home, not just a rental apartment. We appreciated the personal welcome from Luisa, who shared the history of the apartment, showed us where we might want to go in town, and helped us find a clinic for Covid testing for our return trip. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

One month in Evora
I have traveled a lot and rented many appartements, this is for sure the cleanest place I have ever seen. Also very well equipped and confortable. I stayed there 5 weeks and I felt like i was at home. Anything i needed it was really easy to join the owner, Maria. She was always helpful, fast and reliable.

Great location, comfortable and clean home
This small place was as charming as it was comfortable. It was clean and had all you need for a comfortable stay including A/C. It is on the ground level so it is easy to get in and out without stairs. The street it is on is just a short walk from the main square but far enough to avoid all that noise. The owner was very helpful and her English was excellent. It had a comfortable bed, a small kitchen, and nice bathroom. While it didn’t have a washer for laundry she said they would do one load of laundry for free offsite and return to us. Apparently her cleaning lady would pick it up, wash dry and fold and return. I declined that but it was very nice of her to offer it. The free parking is only a could of blocks away. I arrived close to 6pm so the hotel that is about 50 feet away was fine to unload. We then moved to free parking outside of the wall. It was still close enough to that if you don’t have much to unload, you could go there first. The age of this street is about 600 years and the home is not much younger. It has thick stone walls, etc... you will enjoy the charm! I highly recommend!
