We flew in late to Fairbanks International arriving at 2am from Seattle. Due to our arrival time, the car rental companies were all closed, but a short 20 min cab ride to our warm cabin was amazing after traveling almost 24 hours. We were exhausted and ready to get some much needed rest.
We slept a few hours and then were able to make a great breakfast and hot coffee from the fresh ingredients provided by Dan and Clarity. The cabin has many items available to help with the costs of staying in a VRBO.
During our stay we visited Castner Ice Cave, Denali, Chena Hot Springs, drove the Dalton to the Arctic Circle and we day the Aurora! We unfortunately had a lot of cloudy weather near the cabin during our stay so we didn't get to see it from there, but our view was gorgeous nevertheless! It snowed several days, too. We were warm and cozy and appreciated the heated mattress pad!
I didn't get to personally meet either of our hosts, but my husband did and he said they were very gracious and kind. All of my communication with them from before booking until we checked out has been excellent! Zero complaints! I would absolutely come back to this cabin again without hesitation.
We stayed 9 nights total and there was nothing that we needed other than laundry facilities. We went to town and in an hour had our laundry done at Fairbanks Laundry. This cabin has its water brought in by tanker, which I was aware of, many cabins around the area are dry cabins.
