This was our second hotel during a trip to Cornwall. The hotel has a beautiful view to the beach and is ideally located for a 3-5 day visit to the area. From there you can easily travel to the various gardens and touristic spots. And beyond that it offers a lot to stay in this city Falmouth. You can go to the beach, walk or run the coastal pathway or see the city, etc. etc.
The house itself seems to have had some renovations about 10 years ago. We did not like the carpet in our room which had probably seen a lot of tourists and needs to be replaced urgently.
The hotel praised itself as being environmentally friendly: but at the breakfast you could see the reality. All butter or jams were packed individually. Or the toilet in the bathroom did not have a short flush option.
At the breakfast we missed more fresh fruit, and we missed black bread, there was only white or brown toast. But the options for British guests were enormous, one could choose amongst a lot of options with eggs, bacon, fish, etc.
