We travel to Asheville every year in July for a show at the Ag Center. We have a group of 5 and usually stay 15-20 min away. While we have found some great properties in the past, we were looking for something a bit closer to reduce travel time.
We found this listing and it checked all our boxes, including being just a few minutes’ drive to the Ag Center and airport.
In the neighborhood, we saw deer, turkey and a few of the famed white squirrels known to frequent the area.
The house was very clean with lush landscaping and located in a very friendly and quiet neighborhood.
It’s a split-level home with some stairs to climb to the front entrance. Once inside, stairs down will lead to a downstairs bedroom and stairs up leads you to the main living area, bedrooms and bathrooms.
The kitchen area was small, but adequate for our needs as we do not typically prepare large meals on our trips. There is a regular coffee maker (non-keurig) which helped us wake up in the early mornings.
We really enjoyed the covered, screened-in patio and the tranquil back yard during our stay.
The hosts were wonderful and answered any question we had. They even accommodated an early arrival for us by a couple hours when a couple members of our family arrived early.
This was a great place to stay during our time in Asheville and we look forward to staying here next year.
