TLDR: Bed Bugs, placed in room that looked nothing like what we booked online
I want to start off by first praising the staff as they were very kind and we did not have any issues with the hotel staff at all. However, it’s imperative that I share our experience in the hopes others are informed before deciding to book with this hotel.
We had one small issue and one very serious issue during our stay here for our honeymoon:
Small issue: they first placed us in a room that looked nothing like the photos. It was on the first floor and it was a very bizarre room where you were isolated from others and it was outside. However, we did bring this up to the hotel management and they were swift in rectifying this and placed us in the room that we were expecting to lodge in which was excellent service!
Serious Issue: We woke up to 12 bed bug bites between my husband and I. And how did we know it was a bed bug? We found it and took a picture and showed the hotel management. They couldn’t place us in a different room outside of the one we specifically did not want and all they did was sanitize and disinfect the room. Did not offer any compensation or refund. The following night, despite being told they didn’t find any, we were bit again, another 10 bites. Each of them pussing, super red and hot. Refund still denied despite this experience.
As someone who travels frequently, I have never experienced this and highly dissatisfied with our experience.
