Outstanding
Michelle and John not only take pride in the Mango Cottage (appropriately named) they genuinely cared about my comfort while I was their guest. They’ve thought of every detail. I stayed at the Mango Cottage for 11 nights and will happily return on my next visit to the area. It’s a perfect set up for 1-2 people and a dog or two. It’s small but not too small. I’m 6’4” and the king size bed is comfy. Huge closet and nice washer/dryer in a separate area. Hot water and great water pressure. VERY clean throughout. Decent size yard that is fenced in. There’s a beautiful park directly across the street for playing ball with your dog or walks. Quiet neighborhood in a great, central location. 1/2 mile to the pickle ball & tennis courts and aquatic park for swimming laps. LA Fitness is also about 1/2mile. The Mango Cottage, Michelle and John are 10/10.

Fabulous!

The cottage is close to everywhere we wanted/needed to go while still being a peaceful, quiet refuge. John and Michelle worked with us through a scheduling issue and could not have been kinder or more gracious. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic stay with amazing hosts!
We stayed at the Mango Cottage for about a month and a half when I moved to the area from out of state. John & Michelle were the sweetest hosts and were so helpful! They were welcoming to us and our dogs and really made the Mango Cottage feel like home- which was amazing when I was in a new state where I knew next to no one. I was lucky and got to enjoy the tail end of mango season, and let me say, these mangos were the best I have ever had!! They were both available and accessible whenever we needed anything and provided great recommendations for the area- even offering contact information for people to help us find a permanent place to move in the area! John & Michelle made us feel like family and I will always be appreciative to them for that! The Cottage was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed! It looks just like the pictures and was nice and clean when we arrived! Michelle reached out before our stay to make sure the Cottage would be stocked with anything we would need and confirm some details about our stay. The backyard is lovely, my dogs loved running around and the outdoor table is great to sit and eat dinner at. Location is great! Just a few minutes to the beach, lots of great restaurants nearby, grocery stores and drug stores are all close. Overall, we had a phenomenal time and would recommend the Mango Cottage to anyone and everyone!

Oasis in Old Pompano Beach
If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, look no further than the Mango Cottage!! This spotlessly clean, well appointed and decorated, shady cottage is an oasis in busy Pompano Beach. With fresh mangoes from the many trees waiting in the refrigerator to the cool air from the air conditioner to the beautifully stocked kitchen, the Mango Cottage is truly one of the best places my husband and I have rented! The owners, Michelle and John, are born hosts. They are such lovely people and work hard to ensure each guests’ stay is as comfortable as possible. Even though we did not bring our doggies, the Mango Cottage is thoughtfully equipped for your furry friends, including a shady fenced yard. Close to everything, including a park, the Mango Cottage is as convenient as it is comfortable.

Charming cottage. The owners take great care in making sure you have everything you need. Very clean. Owners are onsite which made me feel safe as I was travelling my myself with my teen. Wish I had more time to sit in the lovely garden and explore the area. If I am ever near Pompano again will want to stay here.

Excellent Stay at The Mango Cottage
Our stay at The Mango Cottage was absolutely delightful! The spacing was charming and exceeded our expectations in every way. It was meticulously clean and very well appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen. Mangoes were not yet in season, but host John brought us frozen mango puree so that we could enjoy tropical smoothies in the mornings. The neighborhood was quiet but close to restaurants, attractions and other Pompano Beach amenities. We would definitely stay here again!!

After a mix up with our first hotel, my wife and I decided to book the Mango Cottage last minute for our 4 day trip to FL. After seeing the hotel we would have stayed at, we were definitely much happier we chose the Cottage! The owners are very welcoming and try to provide as much amenities and different ways to help as possible! (Without even asking or knowing there was fresh cream left for our morning coffee so we didnt have to run right out!) The home was perfect for my wife and I, quiet, peaceful and close to everything we wanted to do. If your considering a stay in FL and are looking at this Cottage, 10 out of 10 recommend!

You’ll not be disappointed at all with the little Mango Cottage. The yard was so convenient for our dog and the neighborhood was great for walking our pooch. The location is close to Atlantic Avenue which allows east access for all major thoroughfares. Can’t say enough to the hospitality of the owners. Excellent stay at the Mango Cottage!
We stayed at the Mango Cottage for a few nights during a hurricane evacuation. The cottage far exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and had everything we needed (and more!) for our stay. While we weren't there for vacation, the location was very convenient to the beach and several places to eat and get groceries. John and Michelle were excellent hosts and it is very obvious how much they care about their property. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay again.

Great Stay at the Mango Cottage, Highly Recommended
We had a great stay at the Mango Cottage. The Mango Cottage is in a quiet neighborhood, has a well-appointed interior, and is very clean. We appreciated the accommodating friendly welcome from Michelle and John. They really put a of of thought and work into the interior and décor which made it feel like home away from home. Even though the cottage is the same property, it is very private. The backyard was great for our 2 mature toy poodles. The king bed, pillows, and linens are very comfortable. The shower had good pressure; bath towels were plush & luxurious. The washer and dryer were great to have for our longer stay. We had a great stay and would recommend the Mango Cottage to anyone. Cute, cozy cottage
My husband, son and his friend went down for spring break. The owners met my husband at the property, very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was updated with nice furnishings, had everything in it that you would need to feel at home. Even our 17 year (who is hard to please) called me and told me how nice the place was. Owners gave a lot of ideas on places to eat and entertainment, If we visit Pompano Beach in the future this is definitely the place we would rent again. Highly recommended!

The aptly named mango cottage was perhaps the best property we have rented. The huge mango trees provided plenty of shade to enjoy the private fenced yard with hammock- great for our pouch as well. The cottage was very clean, spacious, and met all of our needs. King sized bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the air conditioning window unit which was loud. Owners respected our privacy- very responsive and friendly as well. Less then 10 minute drive to beach. Three minute drive to great area with dog park, pickleball and tennis courts, golf course, aquatic center and fields.

Great Stay in Pompano Beach!
I was hesitant to book this property because of the lack of reviews, but it seemed the best option at the time and phew! We are SO glad we did!!! The unit is fantastic! Well equipped, clean, and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A 5-10 minute drive from the beach depending on traffic and not far from I-95, the location was very convenient. The hosts are nearby but never intrusive...we saw them at check in and never again...but if we needed them, they were responsive and easy to get a hold of. For us, it was perfect and we hope to come back!!

Perfect cottage in Pompano Beach!
My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a wonderful stay in “Mango Cottage.” The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need! We have rented 5 VRBOs over the past year and this was easily our best VRBO stay. The owners were very welcoming and provided great recommendations regarding the surrounding area. We hope to visit again!
