We checked in after office closing hours by calling ahrad and making arrangements. The staff was very accommodating. We hadnt looked at the description very hard, so we were pleasantly surprised when our Queen bed room had a kitchenette in it (huge fridge, pots, pans, dishes, burner for cooking). Our room was clean and we were provided plenty of shampoo and soap for our stay. The room came with 2 towels and 2 washcloths. The AC unit next to the window was perfect and worked well. It is right next to the bed so it could be loud to a light sleeper, but it drowned out the noise of the street (we were on Ocean Ave side) so we didnt mind it. The TV had plenty of channels. The staff was very kind when we grabbed beach chairs (free to borrow) and when we needed help with the dryer ($2 worth of quarters). Thank you for providing a clean and safe place.

HBBS is only 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale Airport. It provided a welcome refuge when we arrived late in the day. Staff was very accommodating, offering us a quiet suite with a firm mattress on the ground floor. For dinner, they recommended the delicious Greek restaurant on the water across the street, and breakfast on the beach two blocks away. We would have been happy to stay more than one night!

Staff was very kind. Other than that, everything was not even close to 4 stars. Room smelled so strong/rancid of cleaning solution it made my daughter and I very sick. Room was dirty and had hairs of all types everywhere. I booked for 3 nights and left very next morning as soon as registration opened at 8a. Was going to leave that night, but registraion left at 11p and I arrived at 1030p after driving 9hrs.

The value was incredible, amazing location. The hotel itself isn’t anything amazing. Staff is nice and parking only $12 a night. We did find a dead coach roach in the room as soon as we walked in which was unfortunate but besides that we enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for luxury and comfort probably not the place to stay but for good value and an incredible location would still recommend.
