This hotel has a security system for its guests that allows one person to have the app access to the elevator and room. If you hands are full when you get to the elevator you must set everything down to insert your number, the same at the room. Only one person had the access key, so family members who go downstairs cannot get access back to their room. Personally, I felt like a prisoner, claustrophobic, I would not stay here again. The shower had tile floors, no grips, no safety bars. Safety to the room, just none if case of a slip in the shower. Bed was comfortable rooms were clean.

I like being able to bypass check in with having received my security info ahead of time. There were not enough towels in the room and the bed was rock hard. That being said, I did sleep well.

Overall, the hotel is good and has a convenient location, but there are a few aspects to keep in mind: 1. The bed has a design with sharp corners and a protruding frame, which can be uncomfortable—you may accidentally bump into it. I personally got two bruises from it. 2. The air conditioner is very noisy, does not respond to the set temperature, and runs continuously, which can disrupt sleep. 3. Room cleaning is only done upon request, so keep that in mind.

The bed did not have a boxspring so you could feel the boards underneath you going into your back. The road area is very noisy. The air constantly flows sounding like a jet engine, whether it’s blowing or not.

The valet parking experience was excellent. The rooftop restaurant staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dessert at $14.95 each was tasty, but did not merit that price compared to other restaurants. My room did not have washcloths. When driving onto the hotel property, be aware that it is part of a condo complex & there are two valet areas: the first is for hotel on the right, the second is for condos on the left. The valet signage for each is so small we missed the distinction.

Excellent location Pool is not heated freezing and sun only by the pool in late afternoon, building blocks it. No phones in room or by upstairs pool. Nobody to contact? Alarms going off saying emergency don’t use elevator, use stairs and they were locked? Front desk didn’t know anything about 12th floor pool alarms?

Birthday Trip

I really enjoyed my stay here. I wasn’t expecting a balcony so the fact that I ended up with one was the best!!! The location was prime!!! It wasn’t too far from the airport, the beach and there was a grocery store attached. I was a little upset that the rooftop bar wasn’t open, but overall it was still a great stay. The beds were so comfortable. I literally have no complaints.

Fake luxury

Bed was awful, and the wooden bed frame was larger than the bed itself which caused us to hit the frame whenever we’d get in and out of bed. The closet is unusable for any hanging items as the safe takes up a large part of the hanging space. The ironing board was a tiny flimsy table top one. The water coming out of the sink and shower smelled like sewage. The soap was the cheapest of any hotel I’ve ever been too. Smelled like soap you would have in a spirit flight bathroom. The cleaning staff were extremely loud and obnoxious throughout the mornings, screaming to each other between rooms, slamming doors, and laughing and talking at full volume. The doors are not properly sealed so anytime someone opens and closes their door, ours would rattle. This woke us up throughout our entire trip. I definitely will or be staying at this property or any other sonder properties.
