After reading all the wonderful reviews on this property, I booked it for myself and my 87 year old mother. Upon arrival, we could not get hot water in the kitchen or the bathroom sink Despite letting them run for 10 minutes. We contacted VRBO and I received a response from one of the co-managers that the unit did not come with hot water. This, of course, sent us into a bit of a tailspin. After working with VRBO, the owner met me at the unit later in day and we had hot water. However, the next morning, despite having hot water in the kitchen, we could only get lukewarm in the bathroom and shower. My only assumption is that there was one hot water tank shared between two units, and whoever got to it first got the hot water. The next day, our Internet and cable went out, which wouldn’t be a huge deal, except for my mother became very ill and was home the whole time. When I went to check on her during the day, the unit was 78°. The thermostat is run through the Internet, and I took pictures showing that nothing was working, sent to owner, and owner finally responded that she was sending an electrician and I needed to meet him at the home . The electrician showed up just as we were leaving for my aunts 80th birthday party, and I told him that he and the owner would have to deal with the situation. She called the people in the unit next to us, they said they had Internet, so she decided we had Internet. I sent photo evidence we did not and had no air and nothing was done to fix
