What a shame- this place would have scored much higher had we not been treated poorly. We are road tripping and wanted somewhere with a pool And hot tub to relax with our toddler . I asked at check in if the pool was open and wa last told it was. I was told the hot tiling broke that morning. That was fine at least we had a pool. However, once settled in the room we got changed and headed to the pool. It was freezing. The room and water were very cold. Too cold for us and our little one. We were all left disappointed and anyone with a little one knows how upsetting this can be for little people! We asked at reception and were reassured the manager would address and put the matter right the next morning. Except he did not. The manager was actually very condescending and rude suggesting we got the room cheaper anyhow (because we got an online deal but that still included the pool and hot tub!). There was no compensation we were offered a cheaper room with its own hot tub if we shafted another night which we had already said wasn’t an option due to our itinerary. The fridge smelled funky and there were ants in the room also the breakfast choices were random and limited. We didn’t mention this to them but should have! We left feeling duped and disappointed since the sign in the lobby said if we can’t put things rights you get the night for free. We didn’t want a totally free night but compensation would have been nice. Anyhow we won’t be returning to this Baymont ever.
