I liked the location but the room was minimal when it came to amenities and smelled like mold and cigarettes, especially Considering the price and it was a rainy, storming, February weekend, so expected more for it not being a busy time of year for the beach.

I booked a beach view room. I ended up on the corner of the building in the tiniest room you could fit a king size bed in. I had a better view of the emergency hospital next door than the beach. No space for my luggage, one chair in the room. Walls were paper thin even in the corner we could still hear everything. The heater sounded like a prop plane it was sooo loud. I like a little white noise but that was way over the top. The first night there, the light from the balcony shined so brightly into our room I thought I was on the Vegas strip. The second night the staff was able to fix the blinds. The location was decent and you could easily walk to the beach. The breakfast was mediocre not good not bad. I did like the yogurt machine, would have liked a better selection of toppings. The sausage patties seemed under cooked for my liking and the eggs were always cold. I did like the convenient hand soap and it had a good scent. There was little water pressure for a shower. On the bright side the staff were very friendly and the overall cleanliness was good.

You can do much better

Find some place else. If you book an ocean view, you probably won't get the one in the pics. There's only like four of those in the whole hotel. The rest are all side facing, so if you look far off, you can see the ocean a ways down, unless you get stuck in the corner like we did. You might be able to hear the ocean. The room was small and fairly clean. Except for something gross smeared all over the table/desk where I almost set my bag. It appeared housekeeping had attempting to clean it, but only succeeded in spreading it around. My wife said it smelled bad, but I didn't notice this. Sinus congestion saved me. The bed was pretty hard and not the most comfortable. No coffee maker or ice bucket. They have ice machines, but nothing to put it in. And who doesn't have coffee makers in the rooms these days??? Certainly eliminates all chances of a relaxing morning enjoying your coffee on the balcony listening to the ocean when you have to get dressed and stagger down to the breakfast chaos like a zombie. And it is chaos. Lot of people down there. It is a fairly decent breakfast though. That surprised me. The worst part though was the sound proofing. There is none. None. Sirens all night on the seawall. The pack of sasquatch having a dance party overhead. Somebody taking a dump next door. Seriously. You could hear it. Slept terrible. Ruined the next days activities. Everyone at breakfast agreed on the poor sound proofing. For $300 a night, you can do much better.

The hotel we had originally booked for 2 nights pre cruise closed so we booked this one, was a win for sure! Very clean, excellent location, right across from the water. Would definitely stay here again!
