The property itself is beautiful. It is at the end of a lane, and although there are neighbors, they don't feel like they're on top of you. It is right on the river, so the kids went down and splashed around every day. We also kayaked the river every day we were there. We would just drive up a couple miles, and then float down. It's an easy ride, although a little shallow in spots this time of year (end of July). We were told by a neighbor (too late) that this time of year it's better to go float the North Fork.
The cabins/ bedrooms themselves are just beautiful. The kitchen was sufficient to cook for our band of 23. It could use a few more big bowls, but other than that I would say we had everything we needed.
My only complaint is the bathroom situation. They had room to sleep all 23 of us, but just not enough bathrooms. We gave the master (upstairs in the main cabin) to Grandma and Grandpa. Which meant 21 of us were sharing 2 bathrooms/showers. Obviously we dealt with it, and occasionally borrowed the master bath, but another bathroom in the 2nd cabin is SO needed! If it could be added on at the end of the hallway, what a difference that would make!
The lawn is lovely with plenty of room for corn hole, volleyball, spike ball. They have lots of outdoor games available for your use. The front and back porches are also very nice to hang out.
We would definitely return to this cabin!!
