Gatlinburg on the Holidays
We found that the Cabin had a great location, plenty of space, comfortable beds and accurate about the facilities announced. The owner was easy to access with prompt responses.We had been visiting TN for almost 7 years, and we expected a better condition of facilities, couches, and sofas. They were broken, the pillows and cushions were worn and some broken.A door in one of the closets was broken and the property needed a deep cleaning. We payed near 300 for a good cleaned cabin.We paid 1350 approximately for 2 nights in total. We expected better conditions lf the cabin in overall and less dust on lamps and surfaces as well. Again, this is Not the first time we stay in Cabind at TN.

We came from Sourh Carolina to be in the Christmas Parade. So the cabin was a great location and convenient location for where we Setup. If you want to see bears this is the neighborhood for you. We had a black bear get into Everyone of our groups vehicles (2 vehicles were broken into and bears got inside). The neighbors truckbed had a soft cover and the cover was ripped into and the bear was looking around for food.The cabin itself was large spacious enough for our group. It was somewhat refurbished inside, but cheaply done. Some of the things noticed by our group was the "cheap trailer doors", non matching furniture (the livingroom wasn't furnished for a large group), tv's weren't in all the rooms, and everyone complained about the HARD memory foam mattresses. The floors squeaked from top level to main level. I had to sleep with earplugs to drown put the couple above us walking around. Apparently there was no insulation between floors so you can hear EVERYTHING from the other floors. So I wouldn’t plan on any romantic time (When the couple above us got into bed (we heard them say, "this mattress doesn't give, does it!") There were several roaches seen during our visit (one in the master bathroom and 2 in the kitchen)

50th Family Christmas
Our overall experience was quite enjoyable as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary Christmas with our kids and grandkids while we were staying at the cabin. Our young adults thoroughly enjoyed their own space with the pool table. A few minor negatives... the dining table would have seated 12 but not enough chairs, same in the livingroom area. If staying in cold weather, take blankets or comforter. Beds have only sheets. And, BEWARE, bears will be a part of your stay. There are minor inconeviences that could be addressed for the cost of the unit, such as more clothes hangers in closets, closet doors off track, floor registers with scuffed paint. Beds are awful!
If your looking for comfort, this is not the place. Every single bed in thos cabin felt like laying on a slab of concrete! If your ok with a very, very, stif bed then tgis is not an issue. Not a single piece of comfortable furnature in or ouside the cabin. No recliners and couches wer not comfortable at all. Hot tub needs updated as only half of the jets work and the ones that do are weak. Basement firplace would never come on even with setting the timer. Coffe maker craraf was busted so we boight a new one that went home with us. Really needs some improvements.

My family and I had a great time. Everything was awesome, from check in, issues being fixed in excellent time, great communication which is a plus for me. Will definitely book again. Also the beds were very comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the parking but I guess that’s how it is in the mountains. Great time and experience.

Smokie Sunset 6BR Cabin
The host are great and quick to response. This is an older cabin, every clean with everything a group of people can use to feel at home. But it does need a little TLC. 1- hot water heater was broken so the first morning we all took bath by boiling water. This is no fault of the host as appliances can break. 2- Ice maker did not make ice, even by turning the ice maker switch on as per instruction on ice maker, our cocktail were made from a purchased ice bag. 3- top floor fan makes noise at any speed, needs to be replace with new variable speed fan. 4- top floor shower has a leak and drips on the bedroom below. Lucky we had a spare room. Would I stay again, Yes

We arrived during the rare Gatlinburg ice and snow event. The Host was so gracious with providing weather updates 2 days prior and checking in the day of arrival. Above and beyond considerate. The home was as described. The 2 fireplaces a plus and large bedrooms. We had a great time.

The overall condition of the cabin is pretty worn. Our sons sured up several of the deck poles and loose planks for safety. Bedroom furniture is pretty beat up, broken drawers, missing knobs, some rooms have no dressers for clothes. Towel racks are broken and a couple shower heads leaked. Very limited linens. The lower level fireplace had a noticeable gas leak so we couldn’t use it. Parking outside is very limited, if you have more than two cars. Communication with the owner was good, the washer broke while we were there and it was fixed the next day. While there is plenty of room for a larger group, which we appreciated, the overall condition is certainly not worth the cost.

Perfect weekend getaway
We stayed at this cabin to enjoy Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas' Christmas festivities. The cabin is gorgeous. It was very spacious. We enjoyed family game nights in the living room and large kitchen area before we retired to our separate bedrooms. The teens had their own space downstairs that allowed them to have some personal time away from the adults. The cabin was close to everything but far enough away to have privacy. The owners were very responsive to our messages and made the check in and out process easy and smoothe. We will definitely be back!

The property was perfect for our immediate family. Not too far from seiverville (about 25min). Gave it 4 stars because there wasn’t a variety of pots and pans to cook with but an abundance of cooking utensils. Some of the furniture had tears and needs to be replaced. The 3rd floor bedrooms didn’t have TVs in case the ones staying in that floor wanted a little private “me time.” Also one isolated roach was found crawling on the wall in one bedroom. The fridge/freezer didn’t make much ice and the fridge could’ve been a little colder even after having it all the way on the coldest setting. All minor things. Would we stay here again, sure. We truly appreciate the stay and enjoyed our time.
