Quick family ski trip get away
Never have been before to Mt . Ober. Decided to have a quick weekend (Friday afternoon check-in/Sunday morning check-out) away from the burbs of Atlanta with our 2 young kids (9yr and 8yr boys). House was perfect. We chose to have the boys' rooms upstairs with all the games. Each room has their own full bathroom (and tv which was a special treat) that was great. It just happened to call for snow in GA on Friday and we were able to get in a day early on Thursday!! Even better! Rental company was super responsive with all of my emails. I had a mini-panic attack when an operator at the tram up to skiing said we would not be able to get back to our house due to the snow and the hills. The rental Company answered my "what if we cancelled and left tonight" email very fast (fyi if you have 4wheel drive, you will be fine). We also purchased the travel insurance which we may have used if it had turned into a blizzard (it didn't). Even if we were stuck in the house for the day, there were enough games and the hot tubs (yes, there are 2!) to keep us entertained. FYI- We were maybe 5 minutes from skiing. If you bring your own ski equipment, highly recommend paying the 40 for preferred parking vs tram. You will be about 10 feet from the front door if you get a spot in the front. Totally worth it. Also, shout out to The All-New Ski Mountain Pizza (also about 5 mins away). Little pricey but the pizza was good and they were open at 9:30pm on a Thursday! Overall, great time.

Great Cabin nestled in the mountains
We really love this cabin! Extremely clean and the games on the second floor were an awesome amenity. Our only complaint was the Wi-Fi kept kicking us off even when we tried to watch a movie it would buffer several times. Also, we had all young women and there wasn’t a full length mirror for them to check their outfits. Other than that, I will definitely book again because it was in a great location!

This property wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Upon entry, there was dust accumulated on all the blinds. One of their pipes busted or was “loose” on the second night of our stay, which caused an excess of flooding through the ceiling. They had to send someone out to fix it. We had a group of friends and family over, on day 5 of our stay and we were charged an extra $50. We’ve stayed at several other rentals, much nicer than this and never had any issues or surcharges.

Great house
Very clean, and comfortable. The game room was fantastic and really entertained the young kids! Pool and spa were nice additions. Short trip down the mountain to Gatlinburg! Bring your bear spray as we had several visitors while we were there, nothing major but it was exciting to see them so close up!

Very nice cabin
Our stay was very nice and we saw bears everyday! The cabin was clean and nicely furnished. There were some kitchen pans that we were able to use to make dinner so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. My 4 year old loved the game room upstairs.

Wonderful Cabin
My sister, brother in law, mom and dad stayed with me. My mom and dad had never stayed in a VRBO before and this was a fantastic first time for them. The cabin was amazing. Everything was in great condition and very clean and neat. It was vey cozy and homey. We had two vehicles and there was plenty of room in the drive. The manager was very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

Perfect for multiple families!
This cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you may need. The beds were super comfortable. The washer and dryer was very convenient. We stayed with our daughter, son in law and 3 grandkids. Lots of space for multiple families and the kids loved the game room. The swim spa was lots of fun.We saw a bear every day we were there. This cabin did not disappoint. The proximity to gattlinburg and just 1.4 miles from the ober mall. We saw bears everyday! Excellent House to Recharge in.
Our family was looking for a getaway to relax and recharge. This house really has everything. The Three king sized bedrooms with attached bathrooms were perfect. The game room was so much fun and provided hours of entertainment. We cooked all our meals there and the dining table was big enough for us to play board games that we brought with us. Being able to use the swim/spa and hot tub every day was an added bonus but the icing on the cake was being able to see a couple of bears walk by while we were there We booked this house on very short notice but it was super easy to to. I had one question and received a really quick response. Would go back to this property again. Thank you for your kindness and sharing this amazing home.

This was very nice place to stay, we would definitely stay here again. Absolutely great communication with the staff, she answered very quickly for any concerns we had. My only advice to other visitors is that Google maps will take you in the long way with a lot more turns. I would suggest you look at a hard copy of the map to find your way in.

The cabin was beautiful. The first night we used the pool spa and hot tub but then we had some friends visit the house. We seen a total of 8 bears at the property. I would stay again but make sure your able to handle driving up the mountain and back off.
