Had a great time at Mantra Legends Hotel. Very convenient location - close to the tram and buses. Lots of food places around and the beach is nearby too! The staff were very nice and helpful. The carpet is a bit run down but its still a great place

Conveniently located but very dated hotel. Our first room had no working aircon (not ideal during QLD summer). The replacement room had a running aircon but it produced more noise than cold air. The facilities are fairly dated and the pool is not heated.

Paid for a "Luxury" studio unit and got a room no bigger than a bedroom. No blankets just a coverlet and sheet, no extra pillows, soap dispensers all empty, bathroom was old and tiny, no parking in building and had to park blocks away, had to pay a $200 security deposit upfront that was unexpected. Overall if you pay for a luxury apartment you expect to get it.
