We loved our stay. That said - The bungalow was rustically adequate. Everything worked, but it's run down. The kitchen had no supplies except a coffee maker and 2 mugs. No spoons, bowls, glasses, paper towels, etc. I think with a kitchen, you should get a few basics. Especially at the price we paid. (Do people steal this stuff, and that's why nothing is there??)
Jessie, the property manager, was very friendly. (He was actually on site. We did not know that before we got there ) We were worried about entrance into our bungalow since we did not receive the access code via email on my phone. I do think it was sent, but a blank white space appeared on my phone, where it should have appeared.
We tried to phone the owner thru the VRBO app which led us to an international number in the Picairn Islands. I did not want to make an international call. We ultimately messaged thru the app, and Jessie responded. Again, he was very friendly and apologized for the problem with the access code.
Fun place. But it appears nothing is being reinvested in improvement of the dated bungalow. The bungalow was not clean in the corners. Needs a thorough cleaning. The shower was a little sketchy. We could not find an electrical outlet for the lamp situated between the beds. NO outlet in the bathroom for your own hairdryer. (Isn't that a basic these days?)
We enjoyed our little bungalow, though. We may be back. Gorgeous spot on PK. We had a young buck with velvet on his antlers eat Cheetos out of our hands! Lots of deer (baby fawns!) and Canadian Geese with their goslings parading on the grounds.
