girls weekend away
What a lovely old house we had such a lovely relaxing chilled weekend. So lovely and clean cosy and warm and comfy beds. Only 20 mins. from Launceston and the town of Exeter only Minutes away from the house for supplies. Lovely and quiet. There were only 3 of us but plenty of room for at least 8 adults. We will be back when next in the area again such a lovely view over the Tamar Valley. Cheers Maree. K and Friends

Ideal location for 4 couples to spend in the Tamar Valley. Lovely water views and plenty of space to move around both inside the house and in the yard or pool.

Perfect oasis.
Hendersons is an amazing place for any type of stay. We stayed the night before and after our wedding and it was the perfect place for what we needed. Stunning views, amazing amenities and everything you would ever need. Shirlene and Clare are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything. Would definitely book again.

Lovely home
The property has everything you need for a few days. Unfortunately we had loud music being played a lot nearby and roosters at 5am. Add that to hard as a rock beds, we were sadly glad to leave and come home. Husbands broken rib flared up bad because of the beds hardness. And we tried them all. One single bed was very soft. Owners supply some supplies at a cost…pity nearly all we’re out of date?

Warm and cosy winter getaway
Coming to Tasmania in the middle of winter we were expecting a chilly stay but Hendersons was welcoming right from our arrival. With cosy beds complete with electric blankets and convenient heating, we were toasty warm throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed looking out to the river views on misty mornings and were impressed with how large and spacious the property was, easily accommodating our family group. Thanks Shirlene and Clare for a wonderful home away from home!

Gravelly beach was a beautiful home to stay in. Everything had been thought of and it was very comfortable. The location was in handy driving distance to lots of places. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely riverside home away from home
Beautifully presented home in a lovely location with everything we needed to be comfortable and prepare meals at home. The home is a credit to the owners. Only issue we had was the pool was cold, with the solar heater pump not running long enough during the day to warm the pool. We will defiantly stay here next time we’re in Tassie.

Absolutely lovely home. Comfortable beds & bedding, towels were extremely soft. Kitchen had everything you possibly needed. Tranquility plus! Unfortunately we were there for just an overnight stay.

What an enjoyable weekend we had with our family in this gorgeous, historic, well appointed home. It was too cold to swim, but the pool looked very inviting. The only ‘wrinkle’ was that unfortunately the neighbourhood free roaming rooster and hens woke us up very early both mornings.

House on the hill
A beautiful well maintained and updated property. Very comfortable home with special touches, only problem we only stayed for one night and could have stayed longer. Very nice outlook and close to amenities. Would recommend.
