Worst hotel ever

I booked a double they gave me a King on the 7th floor. I went down to desk and she gave me another room on 2nd floor which also was a King. I went back down and she gave me another room on 5th floor. When I got there the room was already occupied. I finally got a room which had barking dogs across the hall. It took me 45 min to check in. There was only 1 wash cloth so I went back down to be told that they were out til tomorrow. Well the next day room had not been checked and no new towels. Went back to get towels but to no avail. This was the WORST hotel experience I ever had. I asked can the compensate me for 1 night and they said no. When I told the guy at checkout that I could wait to write a review he said please don’t make him look bad. 😳

Cute design. As a construction contractor I would not have put this place in to business. It needs to tie up a lot of loose ends. The area around the building is a bit sketchy. Not a fan of the no contact check in. Would not be my first choice to stay in ever again

There seem to be a lot of people hanging around the side. EntranceThe elevator was dirty.A lot of garbage in the morning. I don't know if I'll be staying again, but it was very nice.

So so ..

The room is clean and will set up an organized. Other than there was no coffee. As well as the coffee maker did not have all the parts to function. And when I went to the front desk as for the front desk office everything is locked up and I can't give you anything to make coffee in your room. And then there was no coffee available nor condiments to make coffee at 7:00 or 8:00 at night.. Elevator was broke so had to walk up and down a flight of stairs multiple times to the six story.. Last toilet in room barely flushed. Had to flush it twice every single time not sure what issue was. Anyways overall state was okay was it great but was not horrible.

The hotel is located in a great area, next to the convention center and downtown but the hotel itself is not great. The room did not have an additional lock on the door, no trashcan (had to ask), and the walls were extremely thin. I could hear the neighbors whenever they flushed, showered, and talked. Additionally, it smelled like cigarettes.

Breakfast food has limited quantities of food. The hot water for tea was lukewarm. They ran out of juice in the dispenser and asked if they had any more they stated they did not and had to help them return the juice machine to operation. The room had no hangers in the closet. No wash clothes were available. When the room was serviced, it removed the old soap but did not replace it with new soap. No tissues were available even though they had an empty box in the dispenser. I requested the front desk for tissues, they stated they do not have any.

All of the great reviews for this property have to be fake. Run away from staying here. Dirty. Elevator out of order. Broken workout equipment. Random people hanging out. Sitting in stairwell. Felt very sketchy. Will never stay again. Huge disservice to the La Quinta brand.
