Friendly helpful staff with nice food and a welcoming atmosphere.
However my room was very big and the heating was turned off in December. Turned it on but the radiator was not big enough to heat the room by bedtime. It was just about warm enough the next day.
There was also some areas that weren’t that clean: cobwebs in corner on walls from top to bottom and lamps were dusty.
There were no switches next to bed to turn lights out either.
This all might have been just one room as rest of hotel was warm and clean.
Finally tv remote was broken as was hairdryer. Receptionist kindly brought new batteries but back was also missing.
Clean and convenient. Very friendly staff. I will definitely go again. I didn’t like the mattress, uncomfortable. I tried 2 different rooms in my stat and both have poor quality uncomfortable mattresses.
Excellent value and provided everything we needed.
Hotel room very clean and beds/pillows comfortable. Only point to improve would be better lighting in the bedroom and maybe a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.
Restaurant food very good and staff really helpful.
Large clean room with bath and balcony cheap price and very helpful staff who are always smiling and happy to assist you. Tracy the receptionist was exceptional during my stay, which I extended. Tracy couldn’t have been more professional and was a joy to interact with
Great hotel very accessible for our needs. The outside really lets the inside down as it’s amazing on the inside but looks very dated on the outside not wholly helped by the conference centre which looks in need of some TLC.
I loved the 1970s retro feel of the place , very comfortable with lots of space , staff were excellent and food was reasonable and excellent, even had a balcony facing the golf course , would absolutely staff again
