You can walk from here to Plaza Fontabella and Oakland Mall and it is very close to the airport. The hotel is very nice and has an excellent breakfast buffet

I made a reservation for the aiport shuttle a day before, on the same day i called in to confirm but the shuttle didn’t arrive. I saw him pass but didn’t stop. I called and they told me it was full so i had to wait till the next one. Also i booked a premium executive floor 1 king bed room and got 2 small queens. Couldn’t sleep for my entire 5 night stay.

Al regístrame, el personal del front desk NO demostró tener un mismo estándar en su servicio, soy miembro diamante y en cualquier país que estado (México, El Salvador, España) me han tratado y me han dado todos los beneficios como miembro diamante, en Guatemala me dieron lo que quisieron, tuvieron a uno de mis invitados en el Lobby hasta que llegué 9:00pm al hotel. También me dieron ticket de bebida a dos de los tres cuartos que reservé y para colmo mi cuarto me lo dieron regular siendo yo el principal de las reservaciónes, también me negaron el acceso al lounge, cuando me registre me lo ofrecieron, pero cuando quisimos ir al lounge nos lo negaron la entrada, bajamos al front desk y el manager nos lo negó también. Yo creo que tienen que trabajar más en ser hospitalarios y trabajar en saber con anticipación quienes son sus huéspedes que llegan a su hotel. Dar la extra milla es fundamental para ens par a su personal… Gracias

I travel frequently to Guatemala and I always stayed at Barcelo because of value for money but the last trips but especially this last one had terrible service from hotel reception, security and the executive room. I did not get any benefits and got denied a one hour late check out. How can it be a VIP hotel?
