The stars were the most memorable part of our stay. After the rainstorm the night before, the night sky was crowded with stars and shooting meteors, something we will not forget.
The pine cabin was clean and rustic, excellent hot water and water pressure.
Pots and pans great quality to cook with.
Holiday dishes could be replaced with neutral ones and ones without cracks in cups. Bedding and pillows on couch and bed could also be replaced with less worn new ones (we slept in sleeping bags we brought, on top of bed). New dish drain towel would be most welcomed (we didn't use it due to its age/appearance; we used paper towels instead to catch dish water). Some arborvitaes planted between main house and cabin would create some welcomed privacy. Some lawn care to create a beautiful view from the cabin window would not go amiss. We tried the trails but they appeared to be perhaps damaged from storms. The cabin is off-grid, so be ready to conserve.
That said, we were very grateful for a pet-friendly low-key clean location. It was quiet overall except for an occasional late night car driving in to the main house just a few feet away. It was also easy to find. We loved the smell of the pine wood walls and ceilings.
