Cute towels with shower samples on every bed. Nice touch! Enjoyed the puzzles. Wish it would have been warm enough to enjoy the pool!

First and foremost, the house had a VERY strong musky odor. Even with opening all windows and purchasing candles, the smell remained. It seemed to be worse in the lower level by the back window and door. We also had trouble upon arrival with door entry code so we had to reach out to the service, but we were able to resolve fairly quickly. There was no complimentary coffee as stated in description and the keurig didn’t work. The first night of our stay we were not able to get the thermostat to work and we were all freezing. They did send a maintenance person the next day to have it fixed and provide a new keurig. The house appeared to have been cleaned before arrival as the linens and towels seemed clean and bathrooms were clean but the house overall really needs a deep clean. The baseboards, walls, even the side of the kitchen island were all pretty dirty. The outside pictures looked like we would have a nice fire pit with at least 4 chairs but it was pretty unkept and we didn’t even want to spend time out there. Overall, the location was nice, as we weren’t too far from Charleston but the rest of the experience was pretty rough.

Perfect house for two families
We traveled for a baseball tournament - having a pool and the ping pong table was incredible! We appreciated the small living area that the kids took over for a movie room. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Photos are very deceiving. Inside the place really needs a good cleaning. Very obvious that it's only been surface cleaned, and air freshener sprayed. Had difficulty getting reply to voice messages.

It was ok but not exactly as described
All beds were comfortable, appliances were all good and in good working condition. We where able to make great breakfast. The coffee bar had no coffee, although the pictures identify as there was a coffee bar with good selection of coffee and coffee cups. We had a great ping pong games on a good quality table. Definitely could use new peddles as the current ones are getting worn out. Front porch had none working light fixture and weeds growing on the steps of the porch. Back yard, sun umbrella was broken and could not be used. The bathroom that has the sliding door has good.50” gap between the door and frame NO PRIVACY. Not good.

Underwhelmed and upset
My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday weekend with friends and I would NEVER stay here again or recommend it to anyone. There were multiple things that were more than disappointing during our stay. The main issue for us was the neighbor, he was extremely intrusive during our entire stay, threatening us, peeping over the fence every single day, and being extremely overbearing to the point where we were uncomfortable to even stay at the house. There were only a handful of us there for the 5 days attempting to enjoy our vacation and he completely ruined it. He verbally harassed us at 10 pm two times in one night because his wife wasn’t feeling well and we were in the pool. Instead of asking us nicely to quiet down, which we happily would have done, he threatened us with a shot gun (multiple times from day 1) and to call the police. The second time we were on the porch talking quietly and when we explained we were hanging out enjoying my boyfriends birthday and the air b and b, his response was he doesn’t given an f*** because he lived there. Additionally multiple of the outside chairs were broken and were very uncomfortable to sit in. Lastly, the room with the queen size bed had one person sleeping in it and the frame broke in the middle of the night. To say the air b and b we paid a large amount of money for for, for our vacation was underwhelming is an understatement. If I were you I would pay to stay ANYWHERE else, worst air b and b experience we have ever had!

We had 10 in our party with 6 kids, and this home accommodated us perfectly. We loved the open floor plan and kitchen, and the whole home felt clean and updated. The comfort of the beds and pillows were exceptional. We didn’t get to use the pool or the outside fire pit, due to the weather.

Perfect for a larger family
Beautiful, clean & roomy. 9 family members stayed here comfortably. The house is large enough for everyone to gather together, but also gave us enough room to be alone when needed. The pool was beautiful, but way to cold to swim in January. We were close to the base, the airport & shopping/restaurants. Downtown was about 20 minutes away. We would be happy to stay here again.

Great Place!
We traveled with friends and loved this place. The only thing I would change is to go in warmer weather as the pool looks amazing! The beds are very comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for the house size. There’s a nice fire pit in the back yard as well, which we did try out! The kitchen has all the necessities. We did alot of sightseeing and it was a nice central location. We enjoyed our stay.

Hagood Haven was perfect. The home is large enough for quite a few guests and very spacious. Fully stocked with everything we needed from dishes and silverware to toilet paper and paper towels. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable for everyone. There is a ping pong table that the kids enjoyed. The pool is very well kept however we did not do any swimming since it was so cold. There are three full bathrooms that very very clean. The location was absolutely perfect. Hanahan seems to be right in the center of everywhere you want to go. The neighborhood was nice and neighbors were friendly. Lots of folks walking their dogs. If you are planning a trip to South Carolina and need a place that is spacious, clean, cute, and in a good location, look no further. Hagood Haven is for you. We will definitely book again next time we visit.

Absolutely best place to stay
This property surprised me and family beyond our expectations. The photos online were great but being in the space itself was so much more! When it was time to leave for our cruise, we felt a bit weird because the accommodations were so great, we didn’t want to leave. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Charleston. Thanks Josh for being a super host and a great communicator. You answered me immediately when I had concerns and your responses were straight to the point and very helpful. Again, I strongly recommend this place when traveling to Charleston!!!!

Sibling vacation at Hagood Haven
The house was perfectly set up for the 6 adults in our group. Each couple had their own room and bath. The living/kitchen/dining area was open and made cooking and sitting down for our meals very comfortable. The laundry room was very nice too. The neighbor introduced himself and said to let him know if we needed anything or had questions about the area. There are 3 grocery stores nearby. The drive into Charleston doesn't take long at all and we appreciated the quiet of the neighborhood whenever we came back to the house. I say for the price this was a winner. The only negative thing is there was only one hair dryer in the master suite and not one in the other 2 bathrooms so we all had to share.
