Magisches Kauai-Häuschen auf Nordufer

Hale Huna ('Hidden House') ist ein wunderschönes Häuschen auf einem Hügel in der Nähe des 'Endes der Straße' in Nord-Kauai. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel und einer ruhigen Sackgasse mit nur wenigen anderen lokalen Häusern. Unser Ferienhaus hatte während der Überschwemmung 2018 an der Nordküste keine Überschwemmungen oder Undichtigkeiten. Sehr privat und friedlich (es ist nicht auf / in der Nähe der Autobahn wie viele Kauai Vermietungen). Perfekt für einen meditativen Kurzurlaub oder eine Hochzeitsreise. Heilend und erholsam.

Schöne Aussicht auf die grünen Berge vom Hinterhof. Üppige Pflanzenwelt, einschließlich Mango, Banane, Grapefruit, Guave, Papaya und Linden. Außendusche geschützt durch tropisches Laub. Dies ist ein kleines, aber charmantes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Cottage im Plantagenstil mit dem Gefühl von "echtem" Hawaii. Innerhalb von fünf Minuten Fahrt von wunderschönen Sandstränden, unglaublichem Schnorcheln in Tunnels, Ke'e und Lumahai Beaches und erstklassigem Surfen in Hanalei Bay.

Die nächstgelegene Stadt ist das charmante Hanalei mit Restaurants, einem Lebensmittelgeschäft, einem Reformhaus, Geschäften, Bars und vielem mehr. Hanalei Bay ist berühmt für seinen großen Halbmondstrand, das Surfen im Winter und das ruhige Sommerwasser. Die atemberaubende Na Pali Küste ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt (die Berge, die vom Hinterhof aus gesehen werden, sind die Rückseite der Pali's / Mountains).

Die Nordküste von Kauai ist bekannt für ihr üppiges, tropisches, regenwaldähnliches Klima, ihre Vegetation und ihren zurückhaltenden Lebensstil. Es ist ein fantastischer Ort, um sich zu entspannen, zu lesen, zu schwimmen, zu wandern, zu surfen, zu schnorcheln, frischen Fisch zu essen und meinen Favoriten, einfach am Strand spazieren zu gehen und Muscheln zu suchen.

Great little house on a quiet street
The property, the owner , and the manager were all wonderful. The cottage was amazing and comfortable. However I lost two nights sleep due to a barking pack of dogs. They were down slope and the noise traveled up to us. The property manager was quick to get back to us and the noise was reduced for the rest of the stay.

Hidden gem on the north shore
We were incredibly impressed with the cottage from the moment we walked in the door. It was bright, beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and perfectly outfitted. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house and everything was thought of. All of the rooms were so comfortable and our kids loved that they got their own room. The cottage is nestled in one of the gorgeously green little valleys, only minutes from the beach, and you can walk down to the market for all kinds of goodies (plenty of staples and local steaks). The kids had a blast picking fruit from the yard! The yard itself was so lush and well kept. It was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to our hosts for being so flexible and very easy to communicate with. We would love to stay again in the future.

Paradisiac Home in Kauai
The house is gorgeous, in a wonderful and peaceful zone. The atmosphere of the house is very pleasant, with carefully chosen beautiful furniture that makes the stay relaxing and extremely enjoyable. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained in every detail. Its proximity to Hanalei and the island's most beautiful beaches makes it perfect for enjoying the island's magnificent nature. We had a wonderful holiday!

Amazing
Absolutely prefect north shore cottage. Located just up the road from the local general store, coffee shop and shaved ice. If you are trying to get away from the resort atmosphere this is the spot for you. Quiet and mellow place to spend your days relaxing in Kauai. Minutes from the beaches and Hanalei.

Oh my Gosh, we absolutely loved the Magical Kauai Cottage. From the location, to the style and design of the home, the energy of the space, the comfort of the beds, the kitchen, the outdoor shower, and the stunning backyard. It is better than how it looks in the photos. We loved being there. It was the perfect home for us. We were so grateful to be able to stay in such a beautiful place. We will be back. Amazing Stay at Quiet, Beautiful Cottage!
My wife and I spent a wonderful week at this cottage for our honeymoon. We had done our research and reviewed this listing carefully, but walking up to the cottage and opening the door took our breath away. While the cottage is older, it is in exquisite condition, and the owners have gone above and beyond to make it feel like home. The house is very clean, the beds are very comfortable , and the kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed eating our meals at the outside table. I would stay here again and again. 11/10 stars.

Wonderful Wainiha Cottage
This is a lovely cottage in a residential area of Wainiha on the north shore, about 15 minutes past Hanalei. A family of 4, we stayed here for a week over spring break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is lush and beautiful and the cottage is clean, and comfortable with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, and an outdoor patio. Beach towels, folding chairs, and snorkel gear provided was a welcome touch. There are no safe beaches within walking distance but it's only a short drive to some of the nicest beaches on Kauai including Tunnels Beach, Ke-e Beach, and Hanalei Bay. Lots of shopping and restaurants in Hanalei as well. Host was responsive, provided great directions (it's a little off the beaten path) and lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. This is a very different experience to staying in a resort and highly recommended for an authentic and relaxing Kauai vacation.

Hanalei Bungalow Retreat
What a beautiful place!! We had an amazing stay. The home is perfect, right down the road from the beach and from the little village with great food!! It was so great to come back to this quiet little home at the end of the day exploring. Coffee in the morning on the back patio with the mountains right there…perfection! Magical, peaceful cottage close to beautiful beaches, hiking & Hanalei
We absolutely loved Kristi’s cottage. Retreating to her peaceful sanctuary was just what we needed! Property manager, Kris, was awesome and super helpful. We loved playing board games, cooking fresh fish outside on the little grill, and the use of the beach chairs and surfboard/boogie board were big hits with our kids. The impeccable tropical landscaping is filled with orchids, hibiscus, fresh fruits & sweet Cocoa, the dog next door! The windows open in the evenings made for a perfect and cool rest at night. Aloha and mahalo for a most wonderful stay! We would love to return one day!

Perfect location and cottage
Very happy with our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, essentials for baking making it easy for me to cook for the kids. The beds are really comfortable and the trade winds were effective most nights and other nights we used the AC which worked well. Backyard was fun for the kids to explore. The neighbour's dog was really friendly and kids loved calling Coco day and night. The house is far from the main street so it was always quiet and peaceful. Stargazing at night was amazing. Clear view of the milky way and many shooting stars. Excellent location with short drive to Tunnels, Haena, Hanalei, Kahalahala.

Perfect jungle house
We really loved our stay at Hale Huna! I stayed there with my two daughters, sister, and niece and there was plenty of room for all of us. You can tell a lot of love went into putting this house together, it's tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal (with plenty of sauces in the fridge even!), and it's got lots of hooks inside and out for drying your wet beach stuff. Beach towels, chairs, a boogie board and foam surfboard - we felt like it was home away from home. I met a couple of neighbors who were super friendly and the neighborhood is tucked away in a secluded spot. My only comment would be to bring earplugs because a distant neighbor must be raising hounds and they howl a lot at night. My girls didn't notice it, but I'm a light sleeper so was happy to have my earplugs with me. The proximity IMO to the best part of Kauai is amazing! It was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to be and the Na Pali coast hiking was a highlight. Loved the rain at night and the beautiful garden to eat our meals in. Overall, we all loved it and would definitely stay here again!!
