It is a very run down property which I couldn’t stay! Receptionists told me to call Expedia and that they would approve a refund but they never did

Every time I left the room. I had to get my key redone because it stopped working. The carpets are dirty, the walls are dirty. There was yellow dirt spots all over AC vent in room. AC stopped working in the room. Had to be switched to another. None of the ice or vending machines worked. The staff was the only exception. Jared was extremely understanding and his whole entire staff did a great job getting around these issues. But the hotel needs to be worked on.

The hotel wasn’t very clean. The carpets in the hallways were dirty. For me the worst part was the overwhelming smell of pot. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I expected and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

I checked in Easter 7pm and the entire first floor was very dimly lit. The restaurant was closed, the bar was closed. Nobody was there, as if it were abandoned. Because the lighting was poor I couldn’t find the front desk. I’m assuming the hotel rep stepped away. It took me 10 min to figure out where the front desk was when another guest came down and waited there, asking to change his room because of heating issues.

In the course of a 4night stay we had to change rooms 4 times, including 3 times at check in, due to faulty fire alarm, thermostat, toilet and TVs. No phones in rooms unless requested. Housekeeping didn't clean rooms properly or at all. Curtains falling off the rods, wall paper peeling in bathroom, no lighting at hotel entry, no visible staff at front desk at night. Took multiple requests to get things looked at, due to apparent lack of communication between shifts. Last straw was returning to room at 9pm on final night of our stay to find nothing had been cleaned & being told housekeeping would be told the next morning. Meanwhile I had stripped the beds in the morning to help them, so we had nowhere to sleep. We were told that Management would be told of our horrible experience and would reach out to us. Not surprisingly, no one has contacted us. If we could have found another place to stay, we would have checked out early, but it was Christmas week and rooms were hard to find. Overall, the worst hotel experience we've ever had. To top it off, I got sick the day we checked out. Maybe mold in the hotel?

This is the third time we have stayed at this property but this time we had a few problems. First of all we had requested a cot in one of the rooms as we had an 18 month old, this was not in any of the rooms and the baby had to sleep on one of the big beds, which we had to push up against a wall and surround the baby with pillows and blankets, we had to ask 3 times at reception for the requested cot, each time we were told that someone would bring a cot up to the room, but it was only the third time that we actually waited for the cot to be brought to reception then taken up to the room. Secondly there was a cockroach in one of the rooms that was seen crawling across the floor and into one of our shopping bags! We squashed the cockroach and took pictures of it and on the last day, as we checked out, mentioned these issues to the receptionist who was shocked at these problem and said that if we decided to stay at the hotel again they would try to sort out some sort of compensation for us.
