This property was great for our first night on Crete. Good local restaurant within walking distance and nice beach nearby. The pool was lovely after a day and night of travel!

We booked this for an overnight due to closeness to airport but also due to pool. Unfortunately the pool was unclean and green with slime, there were several people all wanting to use the pool, however it wasn’t possible. Also no pool towels provided which is poor. Limited dining options in the area. It’s not hard to clean their pool which is the main attraction.

Staff very nice, architecture was something special, good pool and overall a nice place to stay. It’s a rather small community and the hotel is on a main artery which has dining options within a 5 to 7 minute walk. The hotel itself has a breakfast bar but doesn’t serve other meals. The beach nearby is nice, we went to the Cicada Beach Bar for refreshments and a wonderful beach day.

Pros: Beautiful grounds, unique property, very clean and economical friendly. View of sea from balcony, walk to beach and local restaurants. Cons: limited street parking on side street only, then enter through front gate. Mattress really hard.

A gem of a small, friendly and welcoming hotel, only 5 minutes (€15) from Heraklion airport. An ideal stopping off point, but also good for local exploration. The food, accommodation facilities and staff could not be bettered.

Ottima posizione, atmosfera famigliare.
Hotel posizionato a 500 metri dalla spiaggia accessibile attraversando la strada e facendo una mini passeggiata, un po' datato ma ancora ben conservato. Si: piscina interna, colazione a buffet ben fornita, proprietari gentilissimi. No: parcheggio in strada, arredamento un po' stile retrò, vicinanza aeroporto con rumori di sottofondo al decollo.

Séjour agréable à l'hôtel Karteros
Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel avec notre petite chienne qui a pu faire connaissance avec Lili, la chienne de l'hôtel. Le personnel a été bienveillant tout au long de notre séjour. Pas de souci de nuisances phoniques malgré la proximité avec l'aéroport ! Les lieux sont agréables et propres, jardin + piscine + accès plage à proximité. Seul petit bémol pour nous : l'hôtel ne dispose pas d'un parking. Il faut donc vous garer en contrebas ou sur les trottoirs.
