Wonderful hotel with great facilities. Food and drink were excellent and very reasonably priced. All staff were attentive, polite, friendly and efficient, if I return to HCMC I will definitely stay again.

Nice clean Hotel

This is a really nice 5 star hotel.with buffet Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner ,if you don`t include this it is about £10 per head . Pool area is small bur a bit of a sun trap ,there are 5 lifts in the hotel you need to use your hotel key to operate them . All staff are so good,hotel even has 2 young ladies to open the front door for you , Check in / reception is on the 4th floor so is the resturant

Lovely

The Windsor Plaza is about half an hour from the airport by shuttle bus and it is in District 5. The Neighbourhood around the hotel is not very touristy although the 'Wild Wild West' Restaurant next door is a nice place to sit and get a beer and some local food to eat. The hotel runs a free shuttle into District 1 every hour which takes about 15-20 minutes. I walked the route into District 1 one day - had I not got lost it would have taken about an hour but was nonetheless a fascinating walk. This is not really a walking city as the traffic (motorbikes) is pretty intense and you need to have your wits very much about you when crossing roads (Google Maps was a godsend) Pavements here are for parking motorbikes, are extensions to the businesses, and places to sell and sit - I read that there are four million motorbikes here. Walking across a road needs, planning, confidence and sometimes (I am ashamed to say) I took the coward's way out and used the locals for cover - even sheltering behind old ladies. With so many bikes the air quality is poor so maybe not a place to be if you have breathing issues. The hotel is about twenty minutes walk from a Parkson department store (Cinema, mall type restaurants and high end shopping) and about forty minutes walk from the Chinese Market. Businesses in the area cater mainly to locals but most people have a few words of English and like to have a practice. I found the local people to be friendly and hassle free and politely curious to see a European wandering around. Ho Chi Minh City is going to change a lot in the next twenty years and a mass-transit system can't be too far away. The hotel itself is a modern 25 storey building with an attached Mall selling jewellery, and clothes. For me it was fine, I had a modern clean western style room with all the facilities that you would expect. The Hotel has a small pool on the roof which is nice to relax by. The staff were polite and helpful and the hotel has a number of restaurants (western prices). The room rate was excellent value for the type of hotel so no complaints from me. Recommended provided you don't mind being outside of the centre.

Great Hotel

Lovely big quiet room in a well organised Hotel. Clean, friendly, safe with excellent shuttle service to downtown. Lovely rooftop bar and swimming pool. Recommended

Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich auch das Buffet war sehr gut. Das Hotel ist etwas zu weit von der City entfernt.

Feedback Windsor Plaza

Hotel Personal sehr freundlich! Lage im District 5 weit weg vom Zentrum Frühstücksbuffet enttäuschend und wenn nicht im Zimmerpreis viel zu teuer (USD 17.- p.Person) Viele Gäste aus China und Russland Pool im obersten Stock schön
