didnt live up to the promise
the room wasnt ready when i arrved at 3am. i was put into a room i dodnt request. no hot water and the rest room wasnt clean . o slept 3 hrs and left.

Room was clean (always a "biggie" for my wife, especially). Very convenient to highway. Gas station right across the street. Breakfast was good. Could use some "freshening" (it's an older facility, but in decent condition, aesthetically). "Tight" bathroom, which seems typical in a lot of places. Thought about using the hot tub, but it wasn't hot enough...didn't see a control anywhere where you could turn it up. Pool looked clean, which is nice for families with kids (or adults, for that matter). Had an exercise room.

We believed that we had reserved two nights on Internet Expedia app; the second day we still had to pay for the second night Looking at our bank statement it appears that we had been charged higher than the Expedia rate for the first night; we are looking at having additional charges added on when we check out in the morninng

Check in was slow. Walls are thin enough to hear people talking next door. Shower faucet was almost unusable and sink had hot and cold reversed. Breakfast was minimal & coffee not hot. No trash can in bathroom

The stay was very nice. The staff was very friendly. We were early and they let us check in. The room was clean and in good repair. We weren’t impressed with the breakfast but I don’t recall any about breakfast in the description. So it was all good!

Needed Rest in Winslow
I needed a place near Hopi Land for a visit. Staff were kind and helpful. Rooms smell like the new vinyl floors are treated? The shower bypass and shower head didn't work very well (ending with low pressure shower). Thanks to the cleaning person for her guidance in the community. Blessings.

The hotel blends both new and old elements, and while it is clean, you can tell they are trying to make improvements. However, there are no grassy areas outside for dogs, and it doesn't feel safe to walk after dark. The doors do not lock at night, which can create an insecure feeling, especially for solo travelers. The front desk area is decent, and the staff is very hospitable and friendly. Additionally, the bathtub and windows are quite old, making it difficult to open them.

Unexpected
It was not the stay I was expecting due to the high-grade review. The lock on my door was not working. It took five minutes every time just to get it to work. You would think that upon arrival, they would share this information with the customers. The walls are pretty thin, and you can hear every conversation from the hallway. Eventually, the noise died down, and it became peacefully quiet. My room was changed completely due to having my pet with me. Originally, I thought I was only being moved to the first floor. Not getting a totally different room. It's weird since this is a pet friendly place, supposedly. Also, the restaurant list has restaurants that are no longer in service.
