I loved this property as it was in the heart of the Garifuna culture. Once you get your bearings and just smile and walk the street and beach, you find amazingly friendly people. The room was simple and functional with a large balcony overlooking the street and beach. Drums banged away until 9PM and stopped sharply. We went a block away and discovered a family business called QueenBean. The son served us drinks on swings right on the beach. The mom cooked us amazing food and the aunty can give you a pedicure, massage, or hair braid. What else do you need?
