Beautiful house, great location, fabulous views! Definitely would have been 5 stars if the outdoor kitchen/pool area had been cleaned and properly prepared. It appeared to me that No one had been to clean the house for weeks. There was dog food spilled in the pantry and dead flies on kitchen window area behind sink. The gorgeous front main living room with the view had too many stains on the carpet and couch. The windows needed a good power washing too. Unfortunately, the hammock needs to be thrown out:( Maybe I have unrealistic expectations, but for the costs I expected a "Ritz Carlton" attention to detail. Despite these issues we would love to stay here again next summer. I plan to request that the outdoor living area be ready to go next time:) Communication and check in were a breeze and stress free:) All in all, it was hard to leave because we did enjoy the house and our time on the lake:)

The house was great! We had a long weekend with the family to celebrate a 50th anniversary. There were 8 adults, 5 kids (ranging 4-12). The location and size of the home were fantastic. The home was clean on the outside, but the outside could use a good spray and maintenance. The outdoor furniture was dirty, the grills / outdoor kitchen were too dirty to be used during our time, there were a lot of bugs on the patio and outdoor stairs. We know it’s outdoors, but it’s obvious that no one handles the outdoor cleaning. Overall, great property and the kids loved having the pool and enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit.

Lake Hamilton Family Cleaning Trip

The property was in good condition as it appears in the listing. There are however a lot of small repairs that the home needs to have done. I would say that whoever is in charge of property management has been dropping the ball with cleaning and maintenance for the owners. When we checked in the back yard, pool, patio, and outdoor kitchen were completely filthy. There was debris, dust, and dirt all over everything and all over and inside the pool. The outdoor kitchen was unmaintained and the grills were full of grease, fat, and filth that had to be cleaned out. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been halfway clean. Spending 12k for a week long rental and having to clean for the first 2 hours you get there is unacceptable. The managers are not doing the owner any favors on this one...

First night - Sheets dirty (we washed), not enough towels (we went to Walmart and bought towels), dishwasher didn't work (we washed dishes by hand). That set the tone - deck furniture mildewed & dirty, toilet overflowed, carpet and rugs badly stained, dirty grill, geese under burners on gas stove, someone's personal belongings in drawers. ETC.Beautiful setting, Christian got us a new dishwasher and a plumber. Not at all worth the amount of money we paid.

We will be back!

The house is perfect! The landscaping is phenomenal. The view is spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped and the stove a dream. The beds were super comfortable and there is plenty of space for large groups to hang out. The owner is a great communicator and quick to respond and take action. We all had a wonderful time and will return in the future.

Excellent property and communicatiom

We had a large family gathering over the weekend. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, but I have nothing but compliments for the property and for Christian- the host. Christian was a quick message away with anything we needed or questions that we had. The property is beautiful with spacious rooms and stunning views. The teens in our group had a great time playing video games and the adults enjoyed the e movie/pool table room - and massage chairs! The kitchen was very well stocked as well as bathrooms .everything was thought of. We would definitely stay in a property hosted by Christian again.

Christmas at the Lakehouse!

Our family Christmas was everything we needed and more! The property and the views are breathtaking. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space when needed and to all come together when ready. We recently laid a family member to rest and wanted to all be together to honor him because he was looking forward to Christmas at the lakehouse! I know he’s pleased and we’ll definitely be back!

Easiest stay ever!

Besides the beautiful house and view, the process for check in was wonderful and easy. The house was very clean and organized and completely ready for our stay. We honestly could not have asked for a better time and stay! 10/10 would recommend for your next lake visit!

Beautiful location with plenty of room for our entire family. The kids loved having the pool at the ready. The only downside was the outdoor kitchen was not working. We love to cook outdoors so this was a disappointment. Otherwise would highly recommend. Great location

Labor Day weekend

Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked including with staples and condiments. Bedrooms enjoyed a great deal of privacy. A few comments: a second refrigerator on the ground floor would be nice, as we could not get the fridge outside to work. We never figured out the pool light; the light switch on the hot tub only turned on the hot tub lights. We also couldn't figure out how to turn down the main TV volume.

This house was perfect for our 15 people for our family vacation. The owner was more than available for any issues that did come up. We had six different families within our group group ; adults had their own room with Bathroom. All the kids had a room they could sleep in the older kids had their own room. The movie theater was wonderful. The pool was great and much needed for a very hot visit. Great space. Lake Memories

Beautiful home with wonderful amenities and close to nearby activities should you choose to leave the lake area. Our family of 16 enjoyed boating, kayaking, swimming in the beautiful pool, soaking in hot tub and swimming in the lake. When not outside, a ping pool table and movie room were big hits. . Owner was very easy to communicate with and extremely interested in making sure our stay was enjoyable. The 8 grandkids (ages 3-19) asked if we could return next summer. This is our 19th family vacation with kids and grandkids and by far the nicest place we have stayed. .

Family get together

16 family members met for a fabulous 5 days in paradise. This house has it all, huge options for bedrooms and baths. Three living rooms plus a movie theater with pool table/ping pong table, rock climbing wall. Outside a pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen. All you could possibly ask for in great condition, a fantastic host. Location perfect on the lake and 10 minutes to eateries, groceries, etc. A definite 10 out of 10 rating. Could not be happier with our stay

Amazing Property!

Loved this property! The location and property itself was perfect for our family of ten (with three generations). We rented a boat from a local marina for one day to complement the property’s pool and entertainment room. Christian responds quickly to all inquiries so we didn’t have any issues. Book, then relax in every way!

Family Weekend

This property is amazing! Sometimes pictures are better than reality and I worry about what thing will look like when I get there. Not this time! We were so happy with this property! Everyone had room to be on their own time to time along with wonderful gathering spots like the game/entertainment room, the pool/hot tub, the upstairs kitchen area or the upstairs main living room. The beds were very comfortable and bedding/linens were excellent. Christian responded to my questions quickly, and he couldn’t have been more accommodating. You won’t be sorry if you stay here! We will be back!

We really enjoyed the house. The number of bedrooms and size of living areas was perfect for our large group. The views from the house were beautiful. We did have a few issues that we need to let you know as the owner operator. The master shower does not drain properly, nor is there adequate pressure and consistent hot water. We also have hot water issues in the other bathrooms downstairs several different times it was intermittent hot and cold and or Luke warm at best. We also noticed an issue with the lower dishwasher not draining water properly. Overall really enjoyed the house it was a great fit for us.

Nice weekend getaway

Celebrated my wife’s birthday with 2 other couples and the property was amazing. Plenty of room for several more couples. Easy access to town, & we enjoyed the races at oaklawn on Saturday. Would definitely recommend!

Photos are Inadequate!

Such a beautiful house and location. The photos do not do it justice! Peaceful and quiet location {except for our own grandchildren :) }! Beds were great. The appliances are top notch - we cooked breakfast and dinner and the Viking range is incredible. The open upper floor plan was perfect for having the younger children in one living space and the adults in the kitchen/den/dining space. Having kayaks available was really fun - most of us were 1st times and loved the experience. My 5 year old granddaughter caught her 1st fish fishing from the bank below the fire pit [and there was even firewood for the firepit!] Christian is the host with the most - very quick to respond, very gracious, very easy to communicate with, very interested in our enjoying our stay. Voted #1 place to stay out of all the places we have stayed over our 20+ years of vacationing....
