Our family enjoyed our stay at this cute, historic, Broad Ripple home. The house has lots of old-time character and charm which we love, but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The bedrooms were spacious while still providing a space to unpack a suitcase for your stay. The beds were comfy and the bedding made it feel a little fancier than other homes we’ve rented. The main bathroom is on the small size, but the shower had great water pressure and an adjustable shower head which was appreciated. Everything in the kitchen worked out for us and we were able to cook two dinners and have breakfast everyday in the house. Instructions for the coffeemaker would have been helpful, but were rather new to the coffee game. Our children enjoyed the games in the basement. We were unable to enjoy the outside space due to the weather, but I imagine it would have been nice. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, but is still in the city. I was worried about backing out of the driveway on to the street since the house sits so close to the intersection, but I didn’t have a single issue. We loved being close to grocery stores and restaurants (we visited Fire on the Monon for dinner and had dessert at Graeter’s Ice Cream) and the drive down Meridian to the Children’s Museum was quick and to the zoo was only 20/25 minutes. I wish we had the time to walk through the gorgeous neighborhood and enjoy the historic architecture. Would book again!
