They advertise it as a house and strategically take pictures to where you can’t see that it is a shared duplex. Which is misleading. They wait until the day before your visit to hit you with the fact that it is a duplex, and a slew of rules to abide by. If you are traveling with kids, this is not a kid friendly property as we were afraid for them to make any noise due to the ridiculous amount of money we’d have to pay if there was a noise complaint.
They also say that there is a neighbor next door, but we found out that the neighbor is also a BnB guest. He came over because he too was afraid to get a noise complaint because they told them we were the neighbors as well.
The house was dirty when we arrived. The dish rack had water build up on it, the shower looked like it had mud in it, the upstairs bathroom door handle gets stuck and you can’t get out of it, the bathtub itself chips, so you can’t give your child a bath in it…there were cobwebs/spiderwebs under the bed in the basement… I found that out when I put it down for our kids to sleep on.
The only positives about this place was the size of our part of the duplex, the convenient location, communication between Luke and myself, and the backyard.
